This is a continuation of the love story of Nyla-Janae Jones and DeVante Swing four years later after departing from each other in the summer of 1990.
"Happy birthday Nyla-Janae!" Dalvin says and I cringe at him using my full government like that. No one ever calls me by Nyla-Janae nowadays so it's kind of a shock.
"Uh... thanks?" I say still in shock.
I didn't want a party at a club or anything. I'm a real down to earth, chill kind of girl so that crowd isn't for me. I decided to keep my little get to together at home.
Back and Forth started playing and I looked at De who was currently smirking at me while at the DJ booth. Our house was incredibly huge so we kept the party downstairs.
"It's Friday and I'm ready to swing!" JoJo sang and I laughed.
"Do one of your dance moves in the video Nyla." K-Ci suggested and I rolled my eyes.
"Fine." I say getting up and started to dance.

"Keep on Moving! Now let me see you go back and forth." I heard my voice sing through the speakers so I did my little belly roll dance.
"Yasss bitch yasss." JoJo mocked and I rolled my eyes.
"You're ridiculous!" I say to JoJo and he just shrugged his shoulders.
"Aight, Aight attention everyone." De says while cutting the music.
"Today is the love of my life's birthday and I must say, what did I do to deserve you? You came into my life in '88 and you've never been such a big factor in my life than how you are now. Shit, I just love you. So damn much, if I lose you again... I'll go crazy. Happy Birthday, babygirl." De says and I blow him a kiss and mouth 'I love you too'.
After that, I decided to go sit down and chill. I observed the place and there were some unfamiliar faces but the rest, I knew.
