She turned around and rolled her eyes "Not for you."
"Kyla, just hear me out." Calvin said
"Calvin, I don't want you. Leave me alone, I'm with somebody." Even though her and Mekai weren't on the best of terms, she wasn't going to go around entertaining other niggas.
"I just wanna be your friend. You a cool ass person, we had a nice friendship and-"
"My nigga is my friend." She cut him off
"Kyla, please-"
"You want a pencil? Here, get out my damn face" she handed him a pencil
"This ain't over" he took the pencil and walked off
What neither of them saw was Mekai watching from down the hall. In his twisted mind, things worked differently. He didn't see Kyla telling Calvin off, he saw her hugging him. That's how he felt when any nigga besides him talked to her. He didn't want his girlfriend conversing with Calvin at all.
"Yo, you good?" Dominic asked him
"Yeah, I'm cool" he nodded
Throughout the entire day, Kyla and Mekai stayed clear of each other. She didn't speak to him, he didn't speak to her.
*2:15pm Kyla
"You work today?" I asked Laura as we walked out of school
"Nah, you?"
"Nope. Wanna go get our nails and feet done?"
"Hell yeah. I'm tired of having gorilla fingers" Laura looked at her bare nails
"Ok, I'm gonna pick you up from your house later." I said as we went our separate ways
I unlocked my car doors and got in. I saw Mekai approaching my car and I quickly pulled off. I don't feel like talking to him today. He may not know it, but he needs his space and I'm going to give it to him.

"This is almost better than sex" Laura closed her eyes, enjoying the foot massage
"You a fool" I turned my massage chair on
"Speaking of fools" she started
"I knew it was coming" I rested my face on my right hand "Wassup?"
"You haven't talked about or to Mekai at all today. You two didn't sit together at lunch, nothing. Everything cool?"
"Just because we're together doesn't mean we have to be jointed at the hip 24/7" I told her
"Could've fooled me."
"Whatever" I chuckled "But we good"
"Alright, I'm just making- Ooo, that's my spot" she closed her eyes again as the lady rubbed her feet
I shook my head at her goofiness.
~ "I don't even like pink like that" I looked down at my hands "But I am feeling these nails"
