"Go baby!" Kyla shouted throughout the game, cheering her boyfriend on
Mekai ran the ball, making a touchdown. Most of the crowd stood up, cheering. It's who was standing up, cheering a little too hard is what stuck out to Kyla.
"Go baby! Go number 4!" Bridgett was standing on the sidelines shouting out Mekai's jersey number
"Hold on, I'll be back" Kyla handed Laura her phone
"Handle ya business" Laura scooted out of the way, knowing it was pointless to try and stop her
"Excuse me, number 4 is my boyfriend." Kyla approached Bridgett
"Nooo, number 4 is my boyfriend, he was over my place last night" Bridgett responded
"What?" Kyla was ready to punch the shit out of her
"Number 4 is Thomas James, right?"
She felt herself calm down "Thomas is number 11, Mekai Andrews, my boyfriend, is number 4"
"Oh, sorry. I don't follow these games too well." Bridgett shrugged with a chuckle
"Mhm. Remember, number 11. Wouldn't want you shouting out the wrong person's number and something bad happens because of it. Enjoy the game" she left after saying that
"Everything good?" Laura asked
"Girl, she ain't crazy" Kyla continued cheering for the rest of the game

"Stop, you're sweaty" Kyla giggled as Mekai left kisses all over her face
"You don't mind me sweatin' when I'm workin' out that-"
"Y'all are so disgusting." Laura shook her head, covering her ears
"Girl, you disgusting too. Stop tryna play innocent" Dominic sucked his teeth
"Shut up" Laura nudged him
"I knew L Boogie was lil freak. Always gettin' on me" Kyla laughed
"Anywayyy" she playfully rolled her eyes "Y'all wanna go out?"
"Yeah" Kyla answered
"No" Mekai replied at the same time
"Baby, we've only been out like three times since staying here. Come on, let's celebrate"
"We can celebrate at the house, alone."
"But Kai, I really wanna go out tonight." she sighed
"You can go, I'm tired babe."
"Yeah, me too." Dominic added "Y'all gotta realize, we just played a whole football game."
"Y'all should have a girls night or something." Mekai suggested
"That doesn't sound bad. We haven't had a girl night in a long time." Laura said
"Girls night it is then." Kyla smiled
"Club?"
"Hell yeah" Kyla said
"Hell no" Mekai quickly said after her
She smacked her teeth "I'll pick you up at 11" Kyla ignored Mekai
"Not if y'all going to no damn club" he said, following her to the car
"You just said you wanted us to go out" she rolled her eyes at him
"Yeah, like out to eat or something. I don't want niggas that close to you without me there." He opened his car door
"Mekai, you act like I'ma entertain them." she got in, closing her door
"I know you not, but niggas don't be caring and I don't wanna be sitting in jail tonight"
"Boy, you know I handle myself." she started the car, pulling off

"You really finna wear that?" Mekai stood in the mirror behind Kyla
"What's wrong with this Kai?"
"It's showing so much" he over exaggerated
"Mekai Andrews, I'm not doing this with you. I'm going out." Kyla said to him
"What time you coming back?" He asked
"Around 1 or 2. It's already 12:23pm"
"Ok...Be careful and call me" he walked around behind her as she got dressed
"Ok baby. Get some rest" she pecked his lips before heading out the door
"Ok, I love you. Pull your dress down a lil bit more." He said after her
"I love you too boy" she chuckled ignoring him on the dress part

It was now 2:13am and Kyla hadn't came back home yet. Mekai had already called her 4 times, stressing her about the time.
"Sunshine, where you at?" He nervously chuckled into the phone "Call me back" then he hung up
After he hung up, somebody knocked at the door. He quickly answered, thinking it was Kyla. When he opened it, Bridgett stood there crying.
"We need to talk..." she said
