"Ky! You have a guest" my mom said from the bottom of the stairs
A guest? Nobody ever comes here for me except Laura, and she always bust right in my room.
"Coming" I got up from my bed and jogged down the stairs
When I got to the bottom, I walked in the living room.
"Who- What are you doing here?" A grinning Mekai sat on the couch beside my mom
"Mekai here was telling me how you agreed to tutor him. That's sweet of you, Kyla." My mom winked at me
"Yeah, I really appreciate her doing this for me" He chimed in
"It's very rare she invites people over" She said to him "Especially ones so handsome"
"Alright mom" I groaned
Thank goodness Camryn is at a friend's house or else all my business would be getting aired out.
"Ok, Ok. I'm going upstairs." She got up "I'm glad you're finally opening up to boys" she loudly whispered "Because I don't care what ya like, I just want ya to like something. Ya know?" She playfully nudged me
"Mom" I tilted my head at her
"Ok, I'm gone" she smiled before heading upstairs
I waited until I heard her bedroom door close before saying anything to Mekai.
"How the fuck did you get my address?" I stood over him
"Hello to you too" he licked his lips
"Forgive me, where are my manners? Hello" I smiled "Goodbye" I gave him a mean look, hinting that I wanted him to leave
"That's real cute. Now sit down so you can help me study"
"I'm not helping you with shit." I mugged him "I should call the cops on your ass. How'd you get my address?" I asked again
"A badass like you calling the cops? I thought you were tough. You can fight your own battles"
"You wouldn't want me to deal with you on my own. I'll hurt you so bad you'll wish you never met me." Of course I wouldn't try to fight a dude by myself, especially after I've seen the damage Mekai can do to one person alone.
"That's sexy, but all that energy could be used for helping me study" he smirked
"I'm not helping you with anything until you tell me how you got my address." I repeated for the third time
"Don't worry about how I got your address. Just know that if you don't help me, me having your address will become dangerous" his tall frame now towered over mine, intimidating me a little
"Oooh, that's such a turn on" I said sarcastically
"I can tell by your nipples poking through your shirt. Now sit ya ass down and help me" He sat back on the couch
"Who the fuck you talking to?" I folded my arms over my erect nipples

"I don't understand what you don't understand" I overlooked Mekai's paper
"In class, I get stuck" he shrugged "And that damn teacher don't be helping one bit"
"You've done pretty good for your first day of tutoring" I smiled, putting his paper in the binder
"Cool" he nodded
"I'm free on Thursday's after 5 and all day on Saturday's" I said
He quickly looked at me "Saturday? A nigga got things to see and people to do on the weekend"
"Don't you mean things to do and people to see?"
"Nah, I said it right." He rubbed my exposed thigh
I pushed his hand off "And that's exactly why I didn't let you stick your dick in me"
He chuckled "Why?"
"Because you out here fuckin' on everything with a pussy. Who knows what you got?" I asked rhetorically
"First off, it was a joke. I'm in a relationship with Lena and I don't cheat. Secondly, I always use protection." He pat his pocket, showing me where the condom was
I scoffed "What do you call what we did?"
"Showing appreciation, like I said" he bit his bottom lip "I can show you some appreciation right now if you want"
"One, my moms here. Two, what we did will never happen again." I shook my head "Do I make myself clear?"
"Yeah, crystal clear." He nodded "So clear that I might actually listen to you"
"Goodbye Mekai" I chuckled
"A'ight, I'll stop playing" he said, picking his pencil back up
"No seriously, it's getting late and we have school tomorrow" I stood up and stretched
"Damn. You go to bed this early?" He checked his watch. It's only 8:36pm, but our study session is over for today.
"No, but I want some alone time before I get ready for bed." I pulled my hair in a ponytail "And you're getting in the way of that"
"Ohh, you finna play with it before you go to sleep?" he put his things in his bag
"No, stupid." I straight faced him
"It's cool if you are." He stood up "Just make sure you think about me while doing it" he put his finger under my chin and gave me a kiss
It was a sweet and short peck on the lips, but I still acknowledged it, as I should've.
"Don't be kissing on me, I'm not Lena" I pulled away from him
"You right, you not" he stared at me. For some reason, I feel like he meant that in a different way
"Time for you to go" I walked him to the door
"Oh, I looked at your files" he said
"Huh?" I was completely confused
"That's how I got your address, I looked through your files" he elaborated
"And what makes you think that's sane?"
"It's not, but who said I was sane?" He did his infamous smirk before opening the door
"See you" I watched him walk to his car
"Bye" He threw up a lazy wave
