Mekai headed in the back while Kyla went and answered the door.
"It smells good in here." Laura took her jacket off
"Thanks, I just put the cake in the oven."
"Where that crazy nigga at?" Dominic asked
"Finishing his shower" she made up something
Dominic sat down and started the game up while Laura and Kyla went in the kitchen. Kyla poured herself a nice glass of wine.
"Want one?" she asked
"I'm fine."
"Wanna smoke?" she showed her all the prerolled blunts

"You never turn down weed or wine. What's wrong?" Kyla sat her glass down, lighting her blunt "I gotta beat Dom's ass?"
"No." she chuckled "You should be thanking him for knocking me up." A smile spread on her face
Kyla almost dropped the blunt "You pregnant?" she blew smoke
"Only two months, but yeah."
"Lauraaaa" Kyla hugged her "I could cry right now." she fanned her eyes "Does he know?"
"Yeah. He's happy." she smiled
"I'm happy too. Aunt Ky, it gotta nice ring to it." Kyla had the biggest smile on her face
"Speaking of ring, how'd you get Mekai to get you one so fast?"
"Good nookie" Kyla joked as she admired her engagement ring
"That and..?"
"We're in love, L. Trust me, your engagement ring will be here before the baby is."
"You know something I don't?" she asked
"I know Dom loves the hell outta' you. You gone get your ring soon, don't rush it."
"I hear you" she nodded
"Hell, I didn't even know how much I'd love the thought of being engaged till it happened."
