B. Loski's Point Of View"I don't think your family likes me." I spoke softly, Naomi's fingers tangled through my hair. A loose strand of hair fell onto my cheek, Naomi twirled it around her finger before releasing it. She let out a light sigh, "I don't care." She spoke blatantly.
Here we lay. In the girl's bed. Just sitting here together, not doing anything but talking. The room is dark, but the blinds are open. The only light in the room coming from the moon outside. Everything is silent around us.
It's nothing new. Whenever I'm with her, everything else seems to fade. Like we're in our own little world. Only we exist in that moment. And everything is just, perfect. You know those moments where all you can think is, 'I hope things never change.' well this is one of those.
Her finger traced my jawline, down to my chin and her thumb brushed over my bottom lip. I furrowed my brows, "You don't care?" I questioned the girl. I had to admit, I struggled to force that sentence out. She was distracting me. Like she always does.
Naomi shook her head, "No." She spoke sternly. I sighed, "I could act different around them if you want. Be an upstanding young man." I chuckled lightly.
"I don't want you to pretend to be someone you're not." Naomi informed me. Her face had no expression. Maybe it was just because it was so dark in her room. Jesus, how late was it? I chuckled, "Not even to impress your family."
"I don't care what they think. I like you just the way you are. I love you now. I love you like this. You don't have to act different just to impress my brother. Screw him. This is the Bryce I love. This one right here, with me now." She spoke sweetly. My heart pounded against my chest. My cheeks heating up, making me wonder if she could feel the heat radiating from them with her hand on my cheek.
Naomi leaned towards me, attaching our lips. God, we've kissed before but every time she just— kills me. It's like it's for the first time. Our lips moved in sync, as I often found them doing. I wrapped my arms around Naomi's waist, pulling her closer to me.
Naomi's hands moved from my cheeks to the back of my neck, her hands tugging at my hair before she placed her hands steadily at the back of my neck, deepening the kiss. I desperately wrapped my arms tighter around her, trying to pull her closer but we were already entangled in one another.
I didn't want it to end but had to pull away once I couldn't breathe anymore. I breathed deeply, my forehead resting on Naomi's as we both tried to catch our breathes. Naomi pecked my lips softly, sparking smiles on both of our faces. Why does she have to looks so damn irresistible? With that cocky little smirk and her swollen lips.
"Why do you have to be so damn cute?" Naomi asked. I chuckled lightly, "I could ask you the same thing." I retorted, speaking with heavy breathes between words.
Naomi bit down on her bottom lip, "Maybe you should head home before your mom files a missing persons report." The girl laughed. Her laugh inflicting butterflies in my stomach.
"You're probably right, but I don't wanna leave you." I pouted, innocently. Naomi shook her head at me, "I'll still be here in the morning."
"Then I'll be back before you can wake up. So it'll be like I never left!" I suggested in an enthusiastic tone. Naomi licked her lips, "Whatever you say, dork."
I untangled myself from Naomi, rolling off her bed and reaching down to grab my bag. I flung my bag over my shoulder and walked towards her window. "Oh wait!" I quickly spoke, running over to Naomi and pecking her lips once more.
"Bye, Bryce." Naomi giggled, waving towards the window. "I bid thee good morrow." I spoke, bringing my hand up to my lips and blowing the lovely girl a kiss.
"Get outta here, dork. I'll see you tomorrow." Naomi playfully showed me.
I playfully winked in return, "Not if I see you first, dork."
