The light was leaving in the west it was blue…
"Sugarlumb." Ian called Nina when he noticed she was back home. He was lying on the couch.
"Smolder!" She ran to him happily.
"Mmmm. I feel like I slept all day." Ian sat up and pulled Nina into a sweet, tender kiss.
The children’s laughter sang and skipping just like the stones they threw…
Nina kissed her man back and grabbed his shoulders. Then she threw her bag on the floor and pulled away with a sweet smile. She kicked off her shoes,
and plumped down on the couch next to Ian. They cuddled and kissed one more time.
When he pulled away from another sweet kiss, he ran his fingers through her hair and whispered. “You’re so beautiful.”
Their voices echoed across the way it’s getting late…
Nina giggled. “Thank you Mr. Smolderhalder.” She took off his bracelet.
"Put it on." He placed a kiss on her nose and then on her lips.
She put it on and it slid down her arm. “It’s already mine. But it’s too big for me.” Nina giggled.
Ian laughed softly. “Your hand is too small.” He grabbed her hand and looked at her ring.
It was just another night with a sunset…
She intertwined her fingers with his and smiled at him. “Take it back. I can’t wear it.”
"Later." He cuddled her tight and kissed her forehead.
And a moonrise not so far behind to give us just enough light…
Nina lifted her hand and looked at her ring.
"So, which one do you like more? The engagement ring or the wedding one?"
"Well uhm…Both." Nina thought for a while. "Mm, no. I lied. The engagement one. I really like it."
"I thought you’re not gonna like it and you’re not gonna say yes when I proposed."
To lay down underneath the stars listen to papa’s translations…
Nina turned to face Ian and spoke again. “Why would I not say yes?”
"Well, I don’t know. It was just a thought."
"But you know I love you, right?"
