When I woke up I saw a large book on my bed roll. Bofur. What he didn't knew is that I learned Khuzdul like 2 days into the journey so I speak it fluently. Yes, I'm bff's with Bofur now. And Kili and Fili keep calling me 'Uncles ghivashel'? Treasure of all treasures, how unbelievably sappy. I like it.
"Read the book already, Bilbo?"
"Yes, I finished it. Lovely book, very well written."
"Did you ask someone to translate the Khuzdul?"
"No, Bofur I can handle myself just fine, thank you very much."
"You speak Khuzdul?"
"Yes."
"You heard everything?!"
