~~Emily's POV~~
I wake up and check my phone, feeling extremely tired. I didn't get much sleep last night. "Hey, wanna come over today? We're shooting a few scenes for a music video. It's nothing too professional but it could be fun if you came over and watched. If you can't make it, it's okay, we will be filming for a week or so but it would be really great if you could come!" I see the text came from Corbyn. I've never seen a music video shoot before, and I'm more than happy to see my new friends again. I feel nervous to reply; hoping they don't think I'm being too pushy on their lives. I push away my feelings of nervousness, and text back. "Sure, when should I come over?" I reply, trying to act like I'm not as excited as I really am. "We start at noon." Corbyn texts back almost instantly. I leave the message for a few minutes, not wanting to sound too eager. I go downstairs, to find my parents making breakfast. "Eggs and bacon dear?" My dad says, stirring some scrambelled eggs in a frying pan. My dad is quite a jolly man. He's tall, and his hair is just beginning to go silver. His cheeks are constantly rosy red, as if someone has painted a permanent blush on him. "I would love some!" I say smiling. He pulls me into an embrace, and pats me on the back. "Morning mom!" I say to my mom whose reading a newspaper. She takes her glasses off to get a good look at me. This is a habit she has. "Morning sweetheart." She smiles and gestures for me to come toward her. She kisses my head, and messes up my hair. I ask my dad about breakfast, and he tells me it will be ready in 20 minutes; leaving me enough time to shower first. I quickly reply to Corbyn's text, saying "Cool. I'll be there." I plug my phone in so it can charge, turn on my stereo, and hop into the shower. As I shower I listen to my favorite music trying to calm myself down before I have to leave to visit the boys. I quickly hop out of the shower, and cover myself in a towel trying to find the cutest outfit to wear. I look through my closet but there's nothing nice. I've always loved shopping but I've never had the money to buy all the clothes I want. I settle with a pair of ripped jean shorts and a plain white T-shirt with a plaid cardigan on top. I dry my hair as quickly as possible, and throw on a pair of running shoes. After eating breakfast, I say goodbye to my parents, giving them both a kiss on the cheek. They close the door behind me.
The walk to their house isn't as long as I expected it would be. After walking for only 10 minutes, Google maps tells me that I'm 5 minutes away from my destination. "Will be there in 5:)" I text Corbyn. This time he doesn't reply. I start to walk slower, as I wait for his reply. The closer to their house I get, the more I hear some sort of unfamiliar music, slowly growing louder.
"Hey!" I shout to Zach whose washing himself down with a hose on the front lawn. Zach smiles and waves; gesturing for me to come toward him.
"I was under the impression that you would have had at least one shower in thst massive house of yours." I joked, referring to the fact that he was hosing himself down. "Ha-ha. Very funny." Zach replied. "I've got to do a quick wash for the video shoot. Speaking of which, I gotta get back. Follow me." I follow Zach across the grassy front lawn to a gate, leading to their backyard. The backyard is one of the biggest I've ever seen. It's covered in tiles, and has a large pool. By the pool sit almost a dozen poolside chairs. The kind that you lie down, and tan on. I'm astonished by the beauty of the yard. "Emily!" My name is being yelled by Daniel, who is coming to hug me. I've always been extremely awkward when people hug me unexpectedly. I try not to let my body tense up too much as he pulls me into a loose hug. "Hey" I laugh lightly. Corbyn comes up to me shortly after and gives me a slightly longer, slightly tighter hug. I feel a pair of eyes watching me. I quickly pull away from Corbyn, and look up to see Jack staring at me. We both look away almost instantly, pretending we never made eye contact." "Hey Emily!" Jonah yells from across the pool. He's shirtless, and wearing a backwards baseball cap. I wave back at him. Suddenly, there is yelling, and there are 2 guys, and a girl probably in their mid 20s, moving and placing the boys around the pool. The girl who is, the youngest looking of the three pulls me aside. "Hey. I'm Alice." She says. "Hi, I'm Emily." I smile, and she smiles back. "Come stand over here so you won't get in the shot. See that guy over there? That's John. He will not be happy if you get in the frame while they're filming. Trust me. I've done it before. Bad move." She laughs. I'm thankful that she's being so nice to me. "Shush!" The guy, I now know as John hisses. "Sorry babe!" Alice whispers. John gives her a look. It's clear now that they are a couple. I stand and watch the boys with Alice.
"And action!" John yells. Suddenly, there is loud music playing over the speakers. The boys are lipsinking, And jumping around. My eyes are fixed on Jack. He's bouncing around excitedly. He seems so happy. When it's his turn to lipsink, he looks directly at the camera and points at it while saying the words. Before I know it he's bouncing around again. He looks so innocent, like a child on his birthday. Just happy to be having fun with his friends.
"And CUT!" John yells. "Okay good. We got that. Now, it's time for the water scene. Jonah, Jack, take a break. Zach, Corbyn, Daniel, we are going to need you for this scene. Alice, get in there too." Says John. Alice looks momentarily shocked.
"What?? I'm the stylist. Not an actor!" Alice pouts. "Well," Says John "our female actor pulled out and won't be coming to the shoot at all this week, so you're all we've got. Get in." Alice slumps over, and walks over toward Daniel, who is sitting on one of the pool chairs. "You!" John says to me. I instantly know he's going to ask me to be another actor. My heart races. "Get out of the backyard. I need to get a 360 degree shot and you can't be in it. Just go inside and help yourself to some snacks or something." John says. "Oh. Uh okay." I feel extremely embarrassed. I LOOK over at Corbyn who gives me an apologetic smile. "You can play my video games." Says Zach. "Just don't beat my high scores, or I WILL kill you." I laugh and nod. Pulling open the sliding door to go inside. As I walk into the house, I notice that Jonah is nowhere to be seen, great. Jack is sitting on the couch playing videogames. I work up my courage, and go and sit beside him. Close, but not too close.
"Hey." I say
"Hey." He replies
