I yawn rolling over unlocking my phone as I begin squinting my eyes, I shut one eye from the brightness of my screen. "Katelyn there's wings and pizza" I hear my mom yell.
I sit up stretching realizing how long of a nap I took.
Nothing like a good day off right? Maybe I should try taking vitamins or working out I need some energy.
I grab my phone and walk out my room going downstairs seeing my brother Ryan sitting playing his stupid game in the living room. I walk over and open the pizza box grabbing a plate getting two slices pulling out a chair sitting down.

"How's work been?" My mom asked me.
"Works been work really nothing new nobody really likes work right?" I exhale as I hear my brother laugh a little as I roll my eyes. "Most people don't work at mini cafes at your age they're going to college or some shit" My brother mumbled playing his game as my mom raises her voice. "Hey language" She said.

"Talk to me when you officially get laid" I scoff under my breath chewing on some pizza.
"Just saying stop crying about it and do something about it" He shrugs not making eye contact.
"He's got a point you should look into school without a degree your going to be working there forever" My mom implied.
What is this are they tag teaming me?

I'm indecisive right now I'm not going to rush into school and sign up to be in debt with no passion behind it. Just because I'm 21 still working in the cafe doesn't make me any less better of a person. "Worry about finishing high school" I say rolling my eyes as I chew covering my mouth talking with my mouth full. "Well let's just say if you finish" I scoff under my breath.

I stand up slapping my hands down on the table and walk away with my plate.
"Are you already done?" My mom asks as I keep walking waving her off not looking back walking back upstairs.

"Thanks for the pizza Mom anytime, anytime I know" I say sarcastically as I walk into my room kicking my door shut with my foot.
My phone rings as I sit on the bed taking another bite of pizza sighing seeing Sarah's picture.
"What could you possibly you want at this time?" I let out a deep breath.

PHONECALL

Sarah "Bad family timing or something?"

Me "Yeah something like that just tired of this house" I said chewing on some pizza.

Sarah "Ok so get out and come over?" She insisted.

Me "Why aren't you with Cameronnnnnn?" I drag the "N" because they're so infatuated with each other.

Then there's me who's the 21 year old virgin who doesn't smoke or drink. But works, reads and listens to music all day or watching Lifetime stuffing my face. Okay I've had one boyfriend and he dumped me for another girl does that count? I'm not that lame right.

Sarah "Danny is here".
Me "Okay what's that suppose to mean?" I scoffed.

Sarah "I asked him if he was still looking for a apartment that I have a friend who is too".

I sit up quickly practically choking on my own spit.

Me "SARAH NO YOU PROMISED!" I raised my voice nervously.

Sarah "Just come over I promise it's not as bad as it seems I'm just trying to help just throw something cute on".

I bite my lip contemplating it.

Me "Fine give me a minute".

END OF PHONECALL.

I hang up laying back looking up at the ceiling taking a deep breath as I rub my hands in my hair.
"He can't be that bad right?" I say to myself as I sit up quickly snapping out of it.
Throwing a T-shirt on putting my hair in a sloppy bun I slide into some comfortable sweat pants.
I stop sighing looking into the mirror. "Why am I trying to be cute for Danny Leyman?" I say to myself shaking my head tilting it a little taking the sweat pants off.

I rush squeezing into my best jeans as I turn to the side in the mirror realizing how great my ass looked. Who knew Forever 21 sold such good jeans? I rush in my make up bag looking in my mirror putting on some bronzer then lip gloss.
I began rushing pacing myself, "I do not need highlight I am not highlighting" I stare at myself
as I take a deep breath dappling some highlighter on real quick.

"A little shine never hurts right?" I exhaled deeply.
All done I slip some flip flops on grabbing a hoodie, my phone and purse. I race down the stairs before anyone can ask me where I'm going.
"See you later bye I have my key!" I yell jogging down the driveway as I get into my car driving to Sarah's.

What am I getting myself into?
