"Open" The dr said to Danny as he swiped his mouth with a q-tip for a DNA sample. I exhaled with my arms crossed watching as I tilt my head watching closely as I bit my lip anxiously. "You alright?" I whispered as Danny rolled his eyes closing his mouth as he clenched down on his jaw. "I guess" He scoffed shaking his head as he looked down at the nurse taking blood from him.
"Never would I think I'd have to take one of these" He mumbled as I exhaled watching closely. "Nice tattoos" The nurse said. "Thank you" He scoffed raising his eyebrows watching her put a bandaid over his arm.
As he stood up pulling his sleeves down Mason walked in as I smiled small at him. "Hey" I gulped as Danny glared at him. "Sorry I'm late" Mason said taking his jacket off preparing to be tested next.
"It's fine" I exhaled as Danny walked out the room shaking his head. "Dan-" I began to call his name as the door slammed I took a deep breath running my fingers through my hair staring at Mason.
"I don't know what you see in that guy" He said shaking his head while pushing up his sleeve.
"Don't Mason" I exhaled watching him get his mouth swabbed as I crossed my arms.
"I'll be back" I whispered under my breath as I went to go look for Danny.
I looked around the building as I spotted him outside a glass door smoking a cigarette, I took a deep breath as I walked outside sliding my sunglasses from my hair to my eyes. "Hey" I whispered under my breath rubbing up my arm as he ignored me looking down at his phone.
"Look I'm not happy about this just as much as you" I whispered. "We knew what we were doing when we were hooking up" I whispered under my breath.
"Did we?" He narrowed his eyes at me. "You should of left him and didn't this is your fault" He scoffed exhaling smoke to the side. "You were confusing me" I argued back crossing my arms. "You never tell me how you feel and you always shut me out" I sniffled becoming emotional. "You ignored me for a year with no closure" I said wiping underneath my eyes as he shut one eye in the sun avoiding eye contact.
He clenched down on his jaw ignoring me.
"Just please don't shut me out now when I need you the most" I said as he took a deep breath looking down putting his cigarette out. "I just need time to myself" He mumbled folding his arms. "No don't say that" I gulped as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Maybe spend some more time with Mason" He licked his lips avoiding eye contact. "Might be good since there's a possibility he might be the father" He scoffed walking away as I chased him. "Danny stop" I said grabbing his arm as he yanked it away and continued to walk.
I covered my face as I sat down on the curb of he building trying to calm my nerves.
