I have been in the hospital for two days for bleeding, they were running a few tests before they determined anything. I just wanted to leave this room and be home warm in Danny's bed with him thats all I wanted. We both came to a mutual understanding that there's a huge possibility I had a miscarriage. It's not that we second guessed being parents it might of possibly not of been the right timing in God's hands. On the other hand Danny's been super supportive and comforting me through this hard time he hasn't left my side.
Sarah drove in and all of our friends have been super supportive during this time for us.
"At least the cramping went away" Sarah sighed looking at me with her hand on her cheek. "Yeah" I took a deep breath trying to eat some jello looking into the cup. "I'm trying to not hope for the worst" I exhaled licking my lips. "I was only a couple weeks but still" I sighed moving the jello around with my spoon. "I'm just hoping I can have kids" I looked at Sarah.
"Trust me miscarriages happen" She raises her eyebrows. "Don't blame yourself" She looked at me serious. I nodded a little as Danny walked back in the room with Cameron and Jake.
"Hear anything?" He asked anxiously rubbing his hands together as I shook my head shrugging.
I moved my tongue around in my mouth playing with the jello as I didn't have much of a appetite. "Babe you gotta eat something" Danny said insisting while sitting down on the hospital bed by my feet.
"I just wanna go home" I rubbed the back of my neck as I heard a knock looking at everyone then Danny.
Watching him get up and get the door as a Dr walked in followed by a nurse.
"Dr Rodgers" He smiled introducing hisself shaking my hand as I nodded. "Which ones dad?" He asked looking around as Danny put his hand out shaking it. "Nice to meet you" Danny mumbled moving his hand away folding his arms.
"Did we want to talk with everyone in the room?" He raises a brow at me then looked over at Danny as I did the same. "It's up to her I don't care honestly" Danny shrugged rocking back and forth slowly eager. "Go ahead" I sighed licking my lips. "When was the last time you two had intercourse?" He asked looking at me and Danny.
"Um yesterday right before it happened" I cleared my throat pushing my hair back as Cameron laughed a little Danny elbows him giving him a glare.
I looked over at Jake roll his eyes then back at the Dr. "The good thing is we didn't find anything abnormal with your blood work you should be good and healthy" He licked his lips as everyone in the room were all listening. "Unfortunately you did have a miscarriage and it was a natural cause" The DR coughed with his fist to his mouth.
Sarah immediately rises up wrapping her arms around me tilting her head against mine as I fought my tears pressing my lips together looking down.
I didn't even wanna look at Danny I couldn't.
"I'm sorry for your lost" the Dr said looking at me. "Unfortunately things like this can happen you might want to hold on sex for a couple weeks" He tilted his head looking at me as I nodded. "Thank you" He slowly got up walking over to me.
"Here are your release papers" He said as I listened taking them scanning over them. "It was nice meeting you stay strong" He patted my kneecap as I took a deep breath slowly looking over at Danny, The Dr placed his hand on his shoulder as Danny nodded down at him the Dr left the room.
He was wiping a tear from his face as he cleared this throat Jake immediately stood up and hugged him patting him on the back. "I'm sorry bro I'm here for you always you know this" He mumbled into Danny's shoulder as Danny nodded pulling away sniffling. "Everything's gonna be alright" Sarah said slowly pulling away from me. "You have all the time in the world it just wasn't meant to be right now" She sighed.
"Just be happy you were only a few weeks" She whispered as I nodded. "Can you hand me my jacket" I asked slowly getting up and she nodded grabbing it giving it to me. "Text or call me alright I love you" Sarah smiled small kissing my head as she walked up to Danny. "Hang in there" She whispered to him rubbing down his arm as he nodded.
"Let me know if you guys need anything" Cameron mumbled shaking his head leaving. "Yeah me too" Jake insisting nodding as he glared at me for a second I fake smiled small. "Thanks" looking back at him as he slowly shut the door.
I rubbed my hands down my face completely stressed out sniffling trying to control my emotions.
I suddenly felt Danny wrap his arms around me placing his chin on my head. "It's gonna be alright I love you" He mumbled comforting me as I squeezed onto him. "Come on" He whispered pulling away as I began putting my jacket on.
Danny grabbed my purse hanging it to me as I put it over my shoulder, He brought me my shoes leaning over placing them by my feet helping me put them on. I smiled small looking down at him as he began tying my shoes. "Hungry?" He mumbled raising his eyebrows looking up at me. "A bit" I nodded as he finished standing up pulling his hoodie down.
He took a deep breath rubbing his hands down his face as I got up sliding my hand into his.
He locked his fingers in with mine walking out of the hospital room. I tilted my head against his arm as we continued walking down the hall to the exit leaving. Who knew what god had planned for us after here. All I know is I loved Danny with all of my heart and if I was ever going to try again I wouldn't want it to be with anyone but him.
I felt like a piece of my life was ripped out of my hands...
