A/N: HEY GUYS!! Another chapter. And I just wanted to tell you guys that I haven't really been looking over my chapters as intently as I would normally. Why? Well, this story IS for fun. So if there's some inconsistencies or weird sentence structures then I apologize now. I cannot check every little detail, but yeah. Just so you guys can know.
Right now, is a lot of set up. Yeah, Undertaker hasn't shown up yet, but he will! And hopefully the dialogue isn't too forced. Considering how short this chapter actually is, I think I'll post another chapter soon after. Perhaps even three? Since I haven't posted a chapter in a while?? But I got VERY busy and didn't have the energy to look anything over. Just write. So there. Boom. Done. My excuse.
And I'd be happy to hear your guys' inputs. Maybe after a while I'll start posting this to my fanfic account? We'll see. I don't know. And I have figured out how to add pictures. Any dresses and other outfits will be shown as I saw them either after the scene is finished or at the end of the chapter. If there is no outfits then it's because I made it up in my head. Yeah. There's going to be descriptions of stuff. That's kind of why everything is so dang long!
But anyways, I'll stop blabbing. ENJOY!!!
!@#$%^&*())(*&^%$#@!
A tired sigh left your breath as you stared at yourself in the mirror.
It's been a few days since you arrived at the 'newer' Phantomhive manor. You were shown around the mansion, and for you it felt like you were stepping into an entirely new building. A quarter of the manor that had been destroyed was restored, as if nothing had happened, and you got to see the plot of land used for your family's graves. They weren't decrypted or destroyed, with bits of rubble all over the place. Instead, it was absolutely beautiful, and while you have this feeling this... demon butler is a reason why this place looks so miraculous, at least, for the first time, you can see what it truly used to be with your own pair of eyes.
You were introduced to the four other staff members at the mansion, Mey-Rin, Finnian, and Baldroy, as well as a fairly old butler, Tanaka. Once Ciel and Sebastian were too busy to care about your doings, it was Tanaka that began to attend to your needs, even if you honestly didn't need it. You've never had a butler or even a servant before. It was... strange, if you're going to be honest, but they were like your own alarm clock. Telling you that you shouldn't be in bed for so long and wake up, when to eat, sleep, and activities that you could be doing.
Still, this Victorian life seems as restrictive as you thought it would be. When you realized who was the ruling family, the monarch, and exactly what time period you had been placed in, you couldn't help but feel a bit irked. Could you even do anything? Do you need permission?? So far, you've been drifting along, letting others plan everything for you.
Well, no more.
But before you even had to state your frustration, suddenly Tanaka was there, having slipped into your room while you were looking at yourself in your newer, silky nightgown. "Is something on your mind, Lady Rose?" you heard him ask, and you frowned at yourself, blinking a few times as you looked at yourself into the mirror, before turning your gaze to him and letting another sigh leave your breath.
"Well..." You were expecting him to say something, but when he kept oddly quiet you decided to continue, "I'm just... you see... I don't know how to act around here," you began, a bit nervously, but you slowly grew some confidence as you continued bluntly, "and while you have been very kind to me, Mr. Tanaka, I don't know if I can just..."
"... If there are places you wish to go to or activities you wish to attend to, the Phantomhive staff would be more then welcome to bring you to those places. The young lord understands that you are an adult capable of taking care of yourself, Lady Rose. Besides, there are some matters I wished to speak to you about."
