25: Discovering Tainted Records

A/N: HEY GUYS! I decided to post the next chapter! Just because this was a fun chapter to read... and write, I'm sure.

I have to admit, I kind of find it funny that I have Undertaker running all over the place while Selena is just off doing her own little thing. Acting like a sneaky little ninja. I'm not sure how I'm going to tie that into her whole backstory, but... yeah!

Just so you guys know, I think I'll be keeping all the chapters up to chapter 30. Maybe 31, at least. I have a few more chapters, but I'm still not sure if I'll keep them or not. So, I'll be keeping this particular 'part' of the story. And then after that I may change it up or keep the next part of the story... we'll see. There's a bit more I have to think about, but in the meantime I'll try to post the rest of the chapters. But, while I did post chapter 24 & 25 today, I wouldn't want you guys to expect me to post daily or anything like that. I'm still working out how I want this storyline to go. Back when I started this story I had a clear picture, but now I need to decide on HOW this story will continue along. I may pull from other plotlines I had started or thought up or maybe I'll leave it behind. There's a lot I had started, but not finished.

Here's a question for YOU guys, though: would you like me to continue this story like a romance or would you like it to become more action based? Cause if I go the romance route we can have a lot more cute Undertaker & Selena interactions, but if we go the action based route I'll be able to go about the plot a bit easier. On the first hand, Selena can have fun and be a bit cute and stuff, but on the other she can be a total badass. I realized, as I was reading through this story, that it kind of starts off as Selena being a mere human that cannot do too much, into, well, these upcoming chapters with her being VERY independent and doing her own thing. Don't get me wrong! I can write both types of stories, but I think a reason why I stopped writing this story was because I became conflicted with Selena and her story... and Cyrus for that matter. I'd just like to know what YOU guys think so far. Because after this it jumps back to being all 'cute' and stuff with a ball so... I'm not sure if I want to go that route. I'm not sure. Some comments from you guys would be very helpful.

After this chapter I may step back for a little while. I still haven't finished reposting videos for chapters that have lost their videos. I also need to finish reading through the rest of the chapters I have, though don't worry! I only have a few more to go! I have work tomorrow and then Tuesday I want to finish up my reading. So... yeah... it's a bit of a mess and I want to reorganize myself. This does end on another cliffhanger so... maybe by tues I'll have the next chapter up? But after that I DO need to step back and evaluate the rest of this story. Not that I need to do too much! I just want to get back into writing!

This story is a bunch of fun so I am excited to get started on writing more fanfic. But please, if you could leave a COMMENT on your thoughts that would be appreciated! I know I just started reposting this story, but... I still have stuff going on in my life so if I cannot respond right away don't worry. At least for now I haven't grown tired of this story. And I certainly have the time and energy to keep thinking about it. But whatever. ENJOY this chapter!! And I hope you're staying healthy out there!!

I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread damper my mood, as if I've been in this exact same situation before, but... I pushed my worries aside as I placed a mask of smiles and giggles upon my face, and calmly knocked at the door.

I waited... if only for a moment, for that disgusting black ravened butler to open the door to give me a suspicious look. "Mr. Undertaker? May I ask why you're here at such an hour?"

"Sorry to bother you, Phantomhive butler, but this is of the upmost importance," I began, hoping to sway the creature with a bit of charm and honesty. "You see, I lost my little assistant and I was wondering if the earl happens to know where she is."
