39: The Chinese Marketplace

A/N: HEY GUYS!!

So, I've been slowing down when I've been posting my chapters because I need some time to just, well, write. And review. As I've said earlier I want to change a couple of chapters I had written a few chapters after this one, so... yeah. I need some time to figure out what I want to change, exactly. But, don't get me wrong! I'm not stopping entirely!! I just need a bit of a break.

I don't have as much time as I want because I'm still working [which is a good thing because that means I'm earning money, but it also means that I'm not home all the time]. And my scheduling is going to be changing soon enough because I'm going from a part time employee to full time, which I'm excited for, but that also means I'm going to be tired and spending more time at work. So... yeah... if I haven't posted for a while don't get frustrated! I may just be hard at work. Currently I have a wed-fri schedule that makes it tiresome to go over this story and bother reviewing and posting the chapters, unless I look over the chapters ahead of time. But soon I'll be taking on an opening schedule, tues-sat. So that's going to suck >.< but I'm going to get a higher pay so I shouldn't complain too much.

But it's just a warning for you guys. That's all!! And... I don't know. I may need a break from this story for a while... I'm running out of good 'cutie' ideas... and I should push forward with the plot. So... yeah... still, should I add Ash/Angela into this story? Cause I could. And should I have a ball scene again? I think I will... we'll see. I don't know.

Anyways, lastly, when it comes to other languages, like Chinese or Japanese or Latin or whatever, after this chapter I'll be italicizing the conversations that are in a different language, instead of using google translate to get my translations. I mean, I'm not entirely blind when I use google, but I also know that other languages speak in ways that is different in English and I bet that some of the translations are wrong, which I apologize for. So, I'll just italicize the conversation if it's in a different language. That'll be different to the dream sequences, which has everything italicized instead of just the conversation. I could use bold, but... meh. I want to leave that sort of format for something else, if it ever comes up.

"Ah! They even have mandarin oranges. I hit the jackpot!" you couldn't help but giggle with glee as you put your hands through the large bins of fruits, grabbing a few large mangos, some ripe while others were still green, for later, before snatching a nice bundle of oranges. "And... oh, they have water chestnuts! They're in season already?"

"Milady, you're buying a bit too much, don't you think?" you heard Sebastian say from beside you, but you brushed him off as you shifted in your coin purse, deciding that, yes, you can afford the chestnuts. Not as many as you'd like, but you'll make do. "... What are you even making?"

"And since there's seaweed wraps I can make sushi. You know how long I've gone without sushi? Too long!" you scoffed in irritation as you walked over to another stand, counting out the dry seaweed with a thoughtful look on your face. "Hmm... should I go with a salad and sushi or just sushi? Sushi and salad is a bit much, maybe?"

"What are you even concocting?" the butler asked while you continued to roam through the market, unable to stop your sudden glee. Mental note, if you go to the Asian market bring not even Undertaker, but Sebastian. At least he's a good enough bodyguard that looks charming on the outside, but devilish on the inside.

"A dinner date, if you must know. Undertaker wanted to know how I used to eat my supper and since he cooked for me I want to return the favor," you explained, a light hum leaving your breath as you eyed some delicious looking fish, though you already bought fish. So you shouldn't bother with that, for now.
