A/N: HEY GUYS!

This chapter is rather short, but that's okay. It's an Undertaker POV, this time, and I didn't really have much to say after I had written his particular scene.

So, a bit more 'world building' stuff has been revealed. Kind of. I hope I did a good job. I know it's a bit of exposition, but hey. I think it's necessary. At least I like it. And I think I added all I needed to do. Yep, Death is real. Life is real too. What exactly are they? That's a good question, without a clear answer. And the 'other world' place Cyrus and Selena were in is like... a pathway into Death's domain, the eternal afterlife, or perhaps it's a bridge that spirits take to that afterlife? Something like that. Meh. But Cyrus and Selena are a bit interesting, I have to say. Kind of a reason why I wanted to continue this story and play around with those two 'twins'. So... yeah. Hopefully over time I can add a bit more to their character developments.

But yeah. Selena truly is a spitting image of Claudia, or rather Cloudia. The countess' name truly is Cloudia, but at the time I liked Claudia more since that's the name a lot of other people were using... Oh well. It is what it is. But there's something more to Selena that Claudia doesn't have. A link with something magical that I will hopefully dive into later. Something she had to become over time, due to the events that happened in her past. But since she's in the Victorian era she hasn't relied on her 'skills' since she appeared, except in the recent chapters. So... there you go. And I hope to build on with her 'abilities' and 'skills' over time. It'll be fun to do that.

But yeah! Here's the next chapter!! And maybe tomorrow I'll go over chapter 30? But I won't make any promises. It depends on what I plan on doing that day. So... ENJOY!!

!@#$%^&*())(*&^%$#@!

I swear, I was staring right at a ghost. A blackened ghost, but a spirit nonetheless.

I couldn't help but see my dear countess standing before me, even though in the back of my mind I knew it was a blooming rose instead of my love, but... Her gaze was overwhelming. While her aura was kept under wraps by the Death cloak she wore, her eyes showed her true nature.

She gave me an order, an ultimatum, and of course for a human it would have been a ridiculous request, but of course I would obey. I always obey.

I cannot say no to her.

So why do I feel so... broken?

I watched as she slipped into the kitchen, looking around for food like a rat trying to scavenge for a quick meal. Her body looked weak, broken, feeble, but now... I can see through that disguise she's placed upon herself for so long. Her soul is strong. Her flesh is weak.

Of course it is. That's how humans are, aren't they? Easily to dispose of. Quick to die. One moment and, poof, they're gone.

I couldn't help but glance at the cinematic record in front of me, my hands curling around the binding before I began to open it and read the cover page.

'Selena Leone Phantomhive

'Born: September 7, 2002'

I smiled. Of course she's not of this time. Of this place. I shouldn't get so involved with the girl.

Yet, as I opened the record, I couldn't help but feel concerned. The girl was right. Of course she is, but I can see... smell, sense that this book is a fake. A clear fake. Connected to the true record this girl must have.

But as I continued to look deeper into the pages, I realized...

"How's it going?" she asked with a tired smile, her hands now curled around a hot cup of tea while I noticed she had finished eating whatever it was she found in the ice box.
