As you were making your way back home, with a bit of bounce in your step and a piece of chocolate melting in your mouth, you couldn't help but pause as you noticed a familiar figure stepping out of a carriage, and an oh too familiar butler following loyally behind him. You watched with a curious gaze as they walked into a decrypted looking shop, and you decided to quickly walk across the street, to avoid being hit, to glance up at the sign with a sparkling gleam in your eyes.

The sign was simple. 'Undertaker' in bold lettering, with a decorative wooden skull carved on top of the sign. You couldn't help but blink a couple of times before glancing around, noticing a tombstone and a coffin leaning against the wall, before your eyes turned back to the door.

Why didn't you notice this place existed at all?

A slightly delighted smirk appeared on your face, but then the smile faded and you sighed underneath your breath. Should you go in? Maybe you shouldn't... but you never know. This could be the job you were looking for, and if not maybe the owner knows some good references. It never hurts to try.

You politely knocked on the side of the door before opening it, tucking your goodies underneath your arm and shoving the half eaten bar of chocolate back into the bag as you began to step inside. "Hello?" you decided to say as you stepped into the fairly small and cluttered lobby, noticing three pairs of eyes now staring in your general direction, though one of those pairs was hidden behind a curtain of silver locks while the other glanced at you in amusement. "Sorry. Am I interrupting something?"

"Hehehehe~! And what brings a pretty little lovely to my shop today? –"

"Lena. How you been following me?" you heard Ciel ask, and a snort left your breath as you waved off his question.

"Of course not. Do you honestly think I could keep up with a carriage? No, I was just walking around the city for a bit. Came across a nice little bakery down the street. Want a piece of chocolate?" you smirked slyly, producing the half eaten bar and you could see his face turning pink in embarrassment.

"No. O-of course not. Besides," he scoffed as you shrugged your shoulders and bit down on the end of the chocolate bar, "isn't that a Funtom bar?"

"Yeah. A lot more cocoa then I remember," you stated with a smirk on your face, and you watched as the boy let out an irritable groan while you turned to the other figures in the room, or rather the one sitting behind a wooden desk, his feet now plopped down on the ground as he seemed to glance at you in amusement.

And you couldn't help but feel as if you've seen him before... You did, didn't you?

"Hello sir," you decided to say, giving a slight curtsey because, well, you figured that was the right thing to do in this situation.

"'Ello," he couldn't help but snicker, and you gave Ciel a raised eyebrow while he grumbled and shook his head at the amused look on your face. "May I ask, how you know the little earl, hmmm~?"

"Well –"

"Lady Rose's parents used to know the Phantomhives," you heard Ciel state, but before he could finish you held up your hand slightly, giving him a slight grin before you calmly continued for him, since he's in the room, now.

"Yes. I come from the Americas. The United States, actually. My family used to run a small little bakery shop, but we had to close after my father died. Then, sadly, my mother passed away about a year ago, and the earl invited me to England. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a fresh start," you smiled sweetly, trying to pull off the 'innocent' look with the man.

But you watched as he hummed lightly in amusement while you glanced over at Ciel before sighing and shrugging your shoulders. "The name is Selena, Selena Rose, but you may call me Lena, sir," you decided to tell him with a light smile on your face, and as you held up your hand to him he turned his head to you before giving you an amused smirk.
