***Marco's POV***

Maaga akong pumasok ng opisina. Gusto kong matapos lahat ng kailangan kong pirmahan bago ako pumunta ng site ngayong araw.

Pagkapasok ko...

"Good morning boss!"

Ang aga naman nito.

"Boss, you have a meeting with MDC Corp para dun sa subcontract natin sa kanila, 9am po iyon..."

Oh shoot! Nakalimutan ko... Di pala ako makakapunta ng site ngayon..

"Pede bang pakitawagan si May at siya na lang ang gumawa niyan? Ay wait ako na lang tatawag... Babaeng iyon di na naman ako naalala... Tss!"

"Hello May! Nasa baba ka na ba?"

"Morning Marco.,, tatawagan nga sana kita... kakagising ko lang..." at narinig kong naghikab pa ito.

"What? Hindi ka pumasok? May sakit ka ba? Musta pakiramdam mo?"

"No! Wala! May bisita ako dito sa bahay... Madaling araw na kami nakatulog... Gusto ka nga rin niya makita..."

"Sino?"

"You know Laura, right? Iyong sis ni..... ni Edward.."

"Si Ate Lau? Paanong....?"

"Siya ang naging bestfriend ko sa U.S., yung ginawan ko ng bahay. Friend din siya ni Blake. Di ko alam magkapatid pala sila..."

"Really? At nandiyan siya ngayon? I'll go there!"

"Kahapon pa siya dumalaw diyan sa office, nakalimutan ko lang sabihin saiyo... Kala ko kasi di kayo magkakakilala..."

"Nope... ate ko rin iyan... Sige after the meeting, punta ako diyan... So di ka na papasok...?"

"Oo.."

"Okay.."

"Okay... sige mag-usap na lang tayo dito..."

I disconnected the call pero nakatingin pala sa akin si Kyla..

"You know my cuz?!"

"Who?"

"Laura."

"Pinsan mo si Ate Lau?" Hindi ako makapaniwala. Hindi ko pa ito nameet noon.

"So pinsan mo din si Edward."

"Yup. Lau was here yesterday..."

"Oh nagkita kayo dito..."

"Opo... sige po boss... Ay! do you want coffee po pala?"

"Sige. Black."

"Okay po.."

Pinsan nina Edward si Kyla... Tss! So di maiiwasang hindi magpupunta dito ang isang iyon...

Mabilis na natapos ang meeting ko with people from MDC Corp. Agad kong tinawagan si May na papunta na ako sa kanila...

"Ate Lau!"

"Baby boy!" Eto pa rin ang tawag niya sa akin... Malamang kay Edward din.

Humalik ako at yumakap sa kanya...

"You look matured now.... you're no longer a cutie..." sabay pisil nito sa mukha ko.

"Aray.."

"Hahaha.. Sorry!"

Natatawa naman si May sa amin.

"Naku mga batang ito... Hali na at mag-meryenda muna..."

"Tita! I miss you!" lambing ko kay Tita.

"Oo kinalimutan mo na ako eh... Porke't may girlfriend ka na..."

"Ha? Sinong maysabi?"

"Hindi ako!" sagot agad ni May.

"Wala.... Halika na..."

"Si Tita talaga oh! Alam ko namiss mo lang ako... Yaan mo babawi ako! Promise!" sabay akbay ko sa kanya.

"Oh isa na lang ang kulang... lalarga na!"

"Ano po Ma?"

"Wala sabi ko isa na lang ang kulang..."

"Sino po?" sabay-sabay kaming tatlo.

"Eh di si Edward!"

Nakatingin ako kay May para maghanap ng sagot ngunit yumuko lang ito. Si Ate Lau naman panay ang ngiti... Hmmnn.. Ano ba ang hindi ko alam?

***Edward's POV***

Laura texted me that she'll be here in granny's house with May... I'm so excited to see her. Hope she won't run away... I won't talk to her if she doesn't want to... I can wait... even if it will take forever...

I then received another text message that they're on their way.... My heart seems to rumble... I couldn't contain my excitement.

After like 4 hours they arrived....

"Oh brother! I didn't expect that you're here!"

My sister is still a good actress. Well, she was a theater actress way back.

"Hi sissy! Uncle called me a while ago... said Grandma is looking for me.. I didn't know that you're gonna be here.."

I was looking at her.

"I didn't tell you... sorry. Anyway you're here! Why don't we just take a stroll around here? I bet you still are familiar with the beaches here, right?"

"Oh you want to go to the beach? How about..... her?"

"She really loves to, right Dale?"

May is just silent the whole time... But I can no longer see the hatred in her eyes...

She just nod.

"Grandma! I miss you!" Ate hugged and kissed our granny.

May take her turn. She got grandma's hand and make "mano"...

"Hello po!" Grandma seems to like her as she smiles widely when she sees her.

She mingled with everyone in our ancestral home.

"Oh, ikaw ba iyong girlfriend ni Edward? Kagandang dalaga! Ikaw pa lang ang nag-iisang babaeng dinala niya dito, iha."

Geez... my Auntie Cora couldn't control her mouth...

To my surprise she just smiled and did not correct my aunt's statement... I was too nervous yet expecting that she's gonna deny me...

My happy heart! Does she liked it?

I caught her eyes but she immediately stared to a different direction.

"Oh Edward! Asikasuhin mo na 'tong girlfriend mo. 'Wag mong gugutumin!"

"Welcome to the family, iha!"

"Thanks po." she managed to respond.
