Chapter 49

***Edward's POV***

I got to spend time with her... and I feel so happy.

But it still saddens me whenever she gets this traumatic attack. I'm also hurting on her sufferings... I know she doesn't deserve it.

I've experienced it for years so I know the feeling... sleepless nights, nightmares and all... it has driven me crazy. But mine was brought by guilt that leads to anxiety disorder.. Good thing I've recovered...

I wanted to suggest to her to consult a specialist as well but I don't have the guts to even open it up... because first off I'm the only reason why she has that trauma.

Currently, I'm seeing happiness on her face... I know it's all because of Laura. How I wish that it's because of me. Hope that time comes and she will accept me as the real me and not her nightmare.

We're here in one of the hotels in Cebu City right now. We just arrived from Manila.

We paid for two rooms. One for me and one for both of them. I know sissy would take care of her in case...

Laura requested to try the bar inside the hotel. It's already approaching midnight but we're still in high spirits.

I let the two talk all they want while we drink. I just listen. I'm so glad to see that they are best of friends... They're more like sisters now...

Laura was laughing out loud while May was bubbly reminiscing their escapades in California... Truly they had a great time there and I ceased it ... 'coz May had to go home because of me... of what happened in Germany...

I can't believe that May has this cool bubbly personality, which I've never seen in her before. That's maybe why she got my sissy's attention... 'coz Lau is the most loud and bubbly person I know.

"Oh lasing ka na sa kakatawa!" May is pointing at her.

"What?!"

"I said you're getting drunk laughing at my jokes..."

"Yeah right! I need no alcohol to make me drunk... You are enough! Hahaha!"

Can't believe these two...

"Hey brother! Have you lost your tongue?" sissy seemed to be red-face now.

"Don't mind me!"

"Oo nga ba't tahimik ka?" May finally noticed me.

"Me?"

"Ay hindi! Sila!"

Sissy burst out laughing!

I was a bit offended but I know she's just drunk and wanted to crack a joke.

They're now teasing me...

"Hey 'lil brother! You're not drinking! Would you want milk instead?"

"Laura?!"

"Just kiddin' kiddo! Don't be too serious... We're here to have fun, right? Throw your worries and problems somewhere else!"

"She's right! Let's make this day and the coming days memorable... 'coz I'm gonna miss this cutie.... my Lauie baby..." and she pinched Laura's cheeks.

"Hey Dale, don't start! I don't wanna cry! Let's enjoy the night! Party! Party!"

"Alright! Party! Party!" May screamed.

They went to the dance floor. They dance like crazy! But I just keep on smiling while watching them. They're really having a great time.

"Come on bro!"
