Chapter 62

***Edward's POV***

Finally... she's officially my girl. I'm the happiest...

We're here now in our old house. I just got from the hospital and luckily, May still accompanied me until home. I know how tired she is but she remained and stayed by my side.

She still had a bit hesitation entering our house when we arrived but she managed to hide it from my parents. I just held her hand the moment we get off the car up until we got inside the house... I assured her that everything will be fine... Fortunately, she stayed cool and normal...

She also chose to be in my room rather than in the guest room when we asked her to stay for the night. So I stayed in the latter instead. Probably she's trying to face her trauma. My parents understood her.

As much as I want to be with her in the same room, I also want to give her the respect that she deserves. Though I'm still afraid that she might scream while she sleeps.

"How are you? Do you want to take a rest now?" I'm asking her while we're in the living room.

"I'm fine. Don't worry about me.."

Funny 'coz I'm holding her right hand and Laura is holding her left on the othe side. My sister is a great third-wheel!

"Lau, can I have a moment with her... alone?"

"Tss! Bro, my stay here in the Philippines is just so limited so I wanted to have a time with my bestie, too... right Dale?"

"Wag na nga kayo mag-away... Ayan nasa gitna ninyo naman ako oh!" she just laugh at both of us.

"Dale, can I just share a bed with you, later?" my sissy is sometimes irritating...

"Nah, sissy! Let her sleep alone please! I know if you'll be in the same room, for sure you both will stay chatting until morning... so please... you two should rest... let her rest... alone!"

"You're just jealous, brother..."

"Oh, please.."

"Ssshhh... tama na nga kayo..."

"Sorry love... I just want to be with you before you sleep..."

"Okay, fine! You won... I'll go ahead and sleep... But tomorrow, Dale will go shopping with me.... ayt Dale?"

"Okay, sige..."

"Godnight, sistah! Mwah! Luv yah!"

"'Night Lau! lab! lab!"

"Goodnight, brother!"

"'Night sissy! Woohhh! At last!"

"I hate you!"

May just laughed at us.

"You two are so sweet..." she said.

"It's just me love..."

"Hay naku bahala nga kayo..."

"Love you can rest here first if you want and I'll just bring you to the room later..."

"As long as you promise me that you won't do anything..."

"I promise! Come on! Lie down here.."

She lay down with her head on my lap...

"Love... I have something to tell you..."

"Ano iyon?" her eyes seemed heavy now as I'm stroking her hair.

"You want to discuss it now? I think you're sleepy..."

"Is it important?"

"Well yes... regarding... uhm... my therapy... I.... "

Seems like I'm running out of words...

"Therapy? Are you on therapy?"

"No... I mean not yet..."

"So you'd like to have some therapy?"

"Uhm I think I need it... you know..."

She sighed deeply.

"S-aan? Sa Germany ba?"

I can feel her worry.

"Yup. Sana... I just want to make sure that I'm fully well...."

She lifted her hand and touch my face.

"Kung kailangang magkalayo tayo para lang gumaling ka... ok lang sa akin iyon... Kasi ako din... I'm on therapy now.. 2 sessions na nga yung wala ako kasi naospital ka... pero I already informed my doctor.. "

I didn't know that she's on therapy now...

"I'm doing that not just for me Edward, but for us... so kung itutuloy mo ang therapy mo.., that would be even better..."

"I'm just afraid na malayo ulit saiyo, love... Mami-miss kita ng sobra..."

I kissed her hand.

"Ano ka ba? Sandali lang iyon.. Nakaya mo ngang ilang taon di ba? Anong ginagawa ng social media? Pede ka naman mag-skype, viber, messenger..."

"I can't kiss you..."

"What?! Yun talaga ang pinuproblema mo?"

I'm just kidding but I want to see her reaction. I pretended to be serious.

"Edward naman... alin ba mas importante saiyo? Yung halik o iyong paggaling natin?"

"Syempre halik.... ay mali... syempre yung recovery natin..."

She pinched me hard..

"Yun naman pala eh!"

"Aww!"

"Wag ka mag-alala bago ka umalis papabaunan kita ng madaming-madaming halik..."

"That's a promise ha?"

She smiled and she pinched me again on the face...

A bit later she fell asleep... I just carried her to my room....

This antukin girl... I can't get enough of her...
