Chapter Eleven
Edward pulled to a stop as we arrived at the motel that I was still staying in. I rolled my eyes mumbling stalker under my breath again believing that it was the only reason he knew that I was still staying there. A sigh escaped him as he moved from the car and appeared to my door a gust of cold air sweeping in.
I sent him a loathing glare.
"Get out already." He grumbled. "You almost puked once in it because of you lack of self control. I don't need you actually succeeding in making my car stink."
I raised a hand to give him the bird for him to grab it and pull me out instead. My feet touched the ground unsteadily my other hand shooting out and grabbing the door to stop myself from falling into him.
Not everyone has cat like grace like him and his family.
Stupid mind reading stalkerish vampire.
I found the ground disappearing from under my feet as I was placed once more on his hard shoulder. I growled, glaring dagger at at his back as his my stomach continued to dig uncomfortable into him.
Reaching a hand down I poked his back my mind slowly processing something. Maybe he was much softer then I gave him credit for. It was from the way that their skin glittered that had me thinking they would feel so much harder then this.
Once again I poked his back.
Edward let out a annoyed growl.
"Stop that. Where's your room key?" He demanded.
I thought about what I did with it.
"I think I gave it to someone." I said, thinking back to a few hours before and how I gambled my key off. "Ya I'm pretty sure I gave it to someone."
Edward must've saw that I had gambled it.
"Unbelievable." He mumbled. "Seriously, you're suppose to be a vampire. Is this how your kind acts? Get drunk to easily and start gambling their things off?" He demanded.
"Put me down." I ordered, trying to clear my mind enough to think about my next words.
Edward listened, dropping me back to my feet. My hand snapped out grabbing his arm as I felt wobbly and off balance. Shaking my head -- and quickly regretting that action -- I straightened my back and pulled my hand back like it burnt to touch him.
"Well, what are you waiting for? You can leave now!" I snapped, turning to face the door.
I bit my lip knowing that I'd have to break the handle if I wanted in. I was pretty confident I hadn't gotten my key back from the person I had originally gambled it to. Fairly confident that he still had it actually.
My brain started to hurt from the use of to much logic while I was drunk.
Right I need to focus. One thing at a time.
What was I doing again?
Edward rolled his eyes as he mumbled under his breath about fake wannabe vampires.
I glared at him.
Grabbing my shoulder he pushed me backwards at the same time that he opened the door. The air whooshed past me before I hit the floor and a groan escaped me. I glared up at him while making no move to stand up.
"I should've just left you." He grumbled. "Or better yet I should've just let him take you home."
I crossed my arms and pouted.
Stupid mind reading vampire.
Stupid mind reading vampire that was different from my own kind.
He just likes making the rest of my night hell doesn't he.
