Being Virgil is fun.

It was time to ruin his life before he comes out of the prison I put him in.

I zipped up his hoodie and tried out imitating his voice. When I was talking to Patton, it wasn't as accurate as I'd hoped. I got it down perfectly after a few tries and smiled wickedly.

I went downstairs to see Patton talking to Logan and watched intently. I mentally forced Virgil to watch it with me.

When their conversation ended, Logan looked right at me like he was about to cry.

"What is it, Logan?" I asked innocently. "Did Patton say something? Did it hurt?"

He gulped, clenched his fists, and ran away with a single tear slipping onto the floor behind him.

I laughed and made my way to Roman's room. Knocking on the door, I pretended to be upset about something.

The door opened almost instantly and Roman pulled me inside for a hug. "You look upset. Are you alright? Did I do something wrong?"

"I just..." I said, "I really need to talk to you."

His expression softened. "Oh, okay. What is it, Virge?"

"I care about you. So much. And I'm sorry that I'm doing this to you, but we can't be together."

Roman's gaze dropped to the floor and back up at me. "Why?" He was shaking and I was doing my best not to laugh hysterically.

"Because... I-I still l-love Patton..."

His hands curled up into fists. "Are you kidding me?! After all those times I asked you, you were lying to me, huh? I love you! You could've told me the truth so much earlier but you just toyed with me!"

"Roman, I'm sorry, but-"

"That's enough! I'm sick of you... You lied to me! You fucking lied to me! What was I to you, huh? I wanted you to be happy and I apologized so much and I learned from all the mistakes I've made and we were so close! You just couldn't tell me before?! I would have supported you!"

"No, I couldn't..."

"Why not?"

"I just... I couldn't."

"You're a fucking moron. I hope you're happy." He shoved me out of his room and slammed the door, locking it afterwards.

I sighed contently and entered Virgil's room. I opened his closet and the secret side room next to it. He used to have it to hide from social situations, but I found a better usage.

"Hey, Virge," I said with a smirk.

"What do you want?" he cried, pulling on the restraints and looking away from the screens of the three other sides and Thomas.

"Can't I say hello to my dearest friend?"

"Oh, fuck off, Snake Face. Stop hurting them. Let me out!"

"I'll let you out once I pin them all against each other and make them hate you. That may take a little while, though. Patton and Thomas are the last ones I have to convince."

"Please," he begged. "Please don't..."

"And what would I get if I didn't?"

"Anything."

I grinned. "Anything, you say?"

"Anything! Hurt me! If Patton ends up hating me, I'll kill myself!"

"Aw. That won't be fun, now, would it? I think I want to torture you a little while longer." I snapped and Virgil looked right at the screens with everyone in the mind suffering.

He tried to turn his head but couldn't. "What the hell did you do?!"

I chuckled. "Have fun."
