I wanted to tell someone about what was happening, but I was absolutely sure that if they knew, they'd stop me.
Still, I couldn't keep myself from wondering if I should.
Not Patton. Definitely not Patton. I don't like keeping secrets from him, but he would literally throw himself in front of a bus for basically anybody and he wouldn't let me.
Logan? I didn't think he'd want me to die, but he'd probably find a way to calm down Patton.
...and telling Thomas would probably be the worst idea ever. With Roman... gone... Thomas wasn't coming up with any video ideas and he was constantly stressed and anxious about being unable to entertain the Fanders. Adding another layer of stress to him would be awful.
So Logan was the way to go.
I slowly exited my room and went to his, knocking on his door.
When he opened it, his hair was a mess, he was sweating profusely, and papers were scattered everywhere.
"Hello, Virgil."
"Uh... Hi. You look like, um..."
"Terrible. I know. Without Roman, I have to do even more work, since Patton is busy grieving. I am Logic though, not Creativity, and doing the job of two traits is much more tiring than I thought. Anyway, must you acquire my assistance?"
"Actually, yeah. We need to talk."
He nodded. "Come in."

I told him everything and he was taking notes. I told him how when Deceit first arrived, he took over my body, and how he controlled Roman.
"Now, how exactly did he word it?" he asked.
"I don't remember exactly, but he definitely said to kill a 'main trait' and 'I'll bring Roman back' I'm pretty sure."
He slammed his notebook on his desk. "It is so simple!"
"What's so simple?!"
"Delete those messages you sent to Roman right now, because there is another way."
