Patton set down a jar of Logan's Berry Crofters Jam in front of Logan.
"I always get it by myself," Logan said. "Why the sudden change?"
"Just wanted to be nice to my boyfriend!" Patton kissed Logan's cheek. "Here's some bacon and toast!"
"Wha- why-"
"Again, just wanted to be nice today! Start eating! I start making some coffee for you."
"Oh, well, thank you very much, Patton."
"No problem! I just love you so much!"
Logan used a knife (not a spatula) to spread the jelly onto his toast. He didn't put on too much, because he knew he wanted to eat some straight out of the container after.
He felt something metal touch the end of the knife. He dug out the jam, putting it on the toast, and found where the clinking sound was coming from.
He was hungry, so he planned to check on that later.
Him and Patton ate breakfast peacefully.
When Logan finished the food Patton had given him, he grabbed a spoon and tried to figure out what was in the jar. He scooped and ate some, which Patton grinned at.
"Still can't see it... Do you know what that is?" He pointed inside the empty jar. "Maybe I should rinse it out."
"Yeah, I have no idea what's in there," Patton lied. He didn't like lying, but he felt the need.
Logan rinsed it out so there was no jam left. He turned it over and the small object fell into his hand.
It took him a second, but he realized and gasped. "Patton!"
The diamond ring shimmered under the light outside from the ceiling window.
"Patton, I..."
His boyfriend giggled. "Logan Sanders, will you marry me?"
"You idiot, of course I will! But don't put shit inside my Crofters again."
"Deal," Patton said. He raised his voice. "THOMAS! VIRGIL! ROMAN! ME AND LOGAN ARE GETTING MARRIED!"
Three deafening screams of "WHAT?!" from three different people were heard.
