first I love you pt. 4

Jack: you had been told to stay behind while the boys went to save Jack, and Mary, and to say you were pissed, terrified, and anxious would be an understatement. It was completely silent all around besides the sound of your footsteps pacing back and forth.
"Gosh, when are they coming back, it's been forever!" You raised your voice, breaking the silence. You pinched the bridge of your nose tightly, and sighed heavily. "Dear, they've only been gone for and hour, be patient." You heard Rowena's accented voice from across the room. You look up, and nod slightly at her trusting that the boys will be ok.

Looking to side you spot Lucifer staring at you. "Why, are you staring at me? it's creepy."
You say, and walk over to him. "Because I can, and you're sort of hot." He says and winks at you. You roll your eyes and smacked the back of his head, walking over to sit with Rowena.
She is smiling at you "just ignore him dear, he's not worth it." She's stated patting your hand that was set on the table. You smile at her. "Rowena I'm scared, honestly, I can't lose my family Ro, I just can't." You whispered looking down slightly. She looked at you surprised that you would confide in her, but honestly you like her, you think of her as friend. "(Y/n), I know those boys, those stubborn irrational, strong boys will be ok." She's said doing her best to comfort you. "I can't lose Jack, I love him." You said slightly embarrassed. She took your hand, "trust your family, trust the ones you love, and trust Jack. They'll all come back." She's stated strongly. Your eyes had begun to water, "Thank you Rowena, I'm so glad you're here." You said sincerely and hugged her.

Hours later
Well things have gone to shit.
Lucifer got through the portal, you and Rowena are trying desperately to keep it open. Exhaustion was clawing at both you, begging you to sleep, but you knew you had to stay awake to help them get back.
Their time was almost up, and you thought you had lost them. Tears filled your eyes, and you had to choke down a sob. When suddenly you saw Castiel come through, then others... and Jack..
A huge smile formed on your face when you saw all of them get back safely, but then you realized.. Gabriel wasn't with them, neither was Lucifer. Your heart broke at the thought of losing Gabriel, he was like an older brother to you.. tears leaked down your face as you went around to hug everyone, even ketch. You finally got to your boys and tightly held each of them telling them "if you're ever gone in another world that long again I'm coming after you dammit." You kissed everyone on the cheek, and they smiled at you.
You turned to jack lastly, he looked down at you, and you threw your arms around him, hiding your face in his chest. He wrapped his arms around you, and kissed your head. Looking up at him you smile, and move your arms to rest around his neck. "You scared me to death, I thought I'd never see you again. You were just gone, I didn't know how to find you," you said rambling as he wiped your tears away. "I'm here now, I'm ok. I was so scared that I wasn't going to be able to tell you that, I love you." He said and you stood on your toes and pressed your lips tentatively against his. He smiled and slowly began to get the hang of it and kiss back. You ran your hands through his hair, as he held you tighter and closer. You pulled away smiled at him, he had a cute grin on his face as he looked you. "So, does that mean you love me too?" He asked excitedly. You laughed and nodded. "Yes jack, I love you too." You said and hugged him again. You could see over his shoulder towards Rowena, and she smiled at you and winked. You smiled back and mouthed a thank you to her, to which she smiled and nodded.
"My boys are home, charlie, Bobby, and Mary are back too. Jack is in my arms and safe. Things are starting to look up."
