Cas:

"Castiel, each time you leave..." you sighed heavily. "I'm scared you won't come back to me... so please if you can hear me." You took in a deep breath "if you can hear me, just let me know you're alive. please..." you pleaded, almost breathlessly. 

You sat on the edge of your bed, your head turned up towards the ceiling. Screwing your eyes shut as tears fell from your (e/c) hues. Your lip trembled, and you brought your head down to stare at your hands. 
You knew Cas could be busy, but you also knew there was a possibility he wasn't there anymore. The longer the silence lasted, the more fear bloomed in your chest. 

"Cas... please..." you tried one more time.
Your voice was scared and broken. 
You had only hoped that your brothers couldn't hear your cries. You tried to keep as quiet as you could as you waited for your lover to answer you. Still silence screamed through the dimly lit room. 

"Ok..." you mumbled to yourself. Although it came out as more of a whimper. 
Not knowing what to do, you just sat on the bed. Trying to keep yourself stable, you clung to the memories of late nights, long talks, sweet stares, and groggy morning 'I love you's'. Tears slipped down your cheeks again. 

Before having a second thought you felt hands cup your cheeks. Thumbs brushing tears away and a voice calling you back to reality. 

"(Y/n)..." you heard his voice whisper. Your heart stopped and your eyes blinked quickly. Scanning the face in front of you. 
"Castiel." You whimpered out. Quickly gripping his forearms tightly. He nodded, and before he knew it you fell into his arms. Sending both of you to the floor. His tight grip focused on your waist, not wanting you to fall. You ended up in his lap, arms around him gripping at his coat desperately. Making sure he was real. 

You looked at him and sighed heavily. "I was scared Cas, I just kept thinking... that you may not come home-" you tried to breathe in but a cry escaped your lips sharply. "Home to me." You finally finished. 

"I heard you (y/n), I came as soon as I could. I dropped everything for you. I won't hesitate to do it again. I'm here, I'm alive." He lifted one hand to the back of your head gently pulling you to him. Letting your head rest on his shoulder. You relaxed into his touch and breathed him in. 

"I don't know how I could live without you Cas. I just, I couldn't. Not without you." Your voice came out exhausted. 

You pulled back to be able to look into his eyes. Those cool blue eyes you adored. You moved your hands up to rest around his neck. Feeling his warm skin against your cold hands, yet he didn't flinch at your touch. 

"I'm here right now. I'm not going anywhere I promise you (y/n)." His low voice sounded through the silence. 
He looked at you for a few seconds more before leaning closer. His actions made your eyes flutter closed, but you didn't feel his lips touch yours. You suddenly felt his lips pressing a soft kiss to your neck. He moved up letting his lips ghost across your soft skin. Your head slightly fell back, allowing him to press kisses up your throat, and under your jaw. You felt a hand come up and lift your head upwards again. Fingers gently weaving into your hair, as yours did the same to his. He pulled you closer to him. "Put your hand over my heart (y/n), it's still beating. It's beating for you." He said against your lips. Your hand dragged down his chest and rested over his heart, you felt it's steady rhythm beneath your palm. 

He then pressed his lips fully to yours, tilting his head to deepen the kiss. You moved with him, your lips parted slightly. Letting his tongue trace your mouth, and sweetly dance with yours. Your hand closed against his chest gripping his shirt softly. 

You pulled away and took a breath. You could feel your kiss swollen lips. Making a smile form on your face. You finally opened your eyes, just to be met with Castiel's closed eyes and content smile. His lips pink, just as yours were. You leaned in one more time placing a kiss against his beautiful smile. His eyes fluttered open at the brief contact. 

"My heart beats for you too Angel."
