You woke up in the middle of the night, with tears pouring down your face, and the sound of soft sobs resounded through the room. You turn over to look at Sam and see that he's sound asleep, not wanting to bother him you turn back around and lay down. You close your eyes and try to fall back to sleep, but as soon as your eyes closed the nightmare came flashing back: the look on Sam's face as the demon tortured him. Screaming for him to stop, and just staring helplessly, being held back by chains.. it was horrible. You couldn't stand it, you needed to know he was ok, you turned towards him again and called his name softly. Your voice cracked and you soon broke down into sobs. "Sammy, please wake up.. I need to know you're ok. Please Sammy please.." you trailed off. You hadn't realized that he had woken up and stared at you in concern. "(Y/n), what happened, are you ok?" He asked gingerly. At the sound of his voice your head shot up and you wrapped yourself around him, and just cried. He just held you, and kissed your head running his hands over you're back gently.
"I'm so sorry sammy.. they hurt you, I couldn't do anything I begged them to stop but they wouldn't.. I couldn't save you Sam, I'm sorry." You held him tighter. "(Y/n) I'm ok, it's ok. I'm here, I'm right here no one can hurt me now, I'm right next to you I'm ok." He whispered in your ear as you tried to calm down.
Once you calmed down you looked up at him with sleepy eyes, and said "You're ok, I can feel your heart beat.. you're real.. I don't know what I would do if you were gone, I love you Sammy.." he looks down at you and kisses your forehead gently, and you soon fell asleep, but not before hearing him whisper "I love you more.."
