first I love you pt.3

Cas: you never knew, what you had until you lost it. You look at your bedroom wall in silence no words being said, no noises around you. To be honest it made you uneasy, because usually when things were quiet, Castiel would be there with you. And the only thing you payed attention to was his breathing.... but now, he's gone and you can't help but blame yourself. If only you had told him those 3 words you were dying to say.

"Cas! Come down here for a minute please. I need to tell you something." You said while plopping down on the bed and sighing heavily. "(Y/n), you called for me?" He asked and tilted his head to the side, like a puppy. You sat up, and smiled at him softly patting the spot next to you. "Cas, I really miss you when you're gone.. and I just wish I knew that you're ok." You said taking his hand gently and looking up at him. "I just wanna see you, I want to hold you when times get tough. I wanna be here for you, but I can't when you aren't here." sighing you look at him desperately searching for answers in his eyes. "(Y/n)... I also needed to talk to you, I'm sorry but I can't be here anymore. I have to leave you." He says pulling his hand away.
Your eyes widened in shock as they filled with tears; the shock turned into confusion, and the tears, were tears of anger. You got up from your spot on the bed, and turned away from him. "You know Cas, I haven't seen you for months, and you barely answer when I call for you. Then you finally show up, when I call for the hundredth time, to tell me you are just leaving me behind!" You shout at him, and turn back to face him "I'm sorry (y/n), but it's for your safety." He says and tries to reach for your hand once again. " No, no, don't you dare touch me, I called you here to tell you that i-i.. you know what never mind, just go." You said sternly. He looked at you one more time and then disappeared.  You fall on the floor, and cry until you feel as though you can't cry anymore. regretting that you never got to tell him that you loved him, before you sent him away.

2 weeks later, and here you are still staring at the wall just wishing you had the chance to tell him. Wishing that he would come back to you.
Finally, you decided to close your eyes and just talk to him hoping he would hear you. "Cas... Castiel, I'm sorry, just please come back even if it's  just one more time. I need to tell you that I-i love you, and i just want you to know that I miss you too much to be mad anymore. So just once more, let me hold you, and at least tell you goodbye." you didn't realize it but you started to cry opening your eyes you wiped your tears away, and sighed sadly. "I love you too (y/n), I just want you to be safe." You jumped slightly and looked at your Angel. Rushing to hug him, you throw your arms around him, and mumble " I know, but Angel, I need you to know I'm safer with you than I ever would be alone." He tilted your head upwards and said "I love you, and I know that I never want to leave you, for fear that I can't protect you. I promise to not leave again." You smile and grip his tie, pulling him down into a kiss. Pulling away just enough that your lips brushed his as you spoke, "I love you my Angel." " I love you too (y/n)."
