Castiel looked down at you from the top of the stairs. You're lying on your back, eyes closed and listening to music. His brows furrowed in concern as he quickly descended from the small landing. 

Dean walks by just as Cas reaches the bottom of the stairs. He sees the concern in his eyes and laughs. 

"Dean, why are you laughing? (Y/n) is just lying on the floor. Why is this funny to you?" He asks with a tilt of his head. Your ears perked up at the commotion, and you peeped one eye open. Dean was laughing his ass off and Cas had a look of extreme concern. 

You let out a giggle and stopped your music. Castiel turned to look at you and his eyes widened. 

"(Y/n), you're ok?" He asked. His voice held a small ounce of panic. You smiled at the Angel and let out a laugh. 
"Aw Cas, I'm just fine. I was only listening to my music." You said reaching a hand up and stroking his cheek.  

His eyes softened but confusion still lingers. He looks once more to Dean. "I still don't understand why you found this so humorous." He said. 

"She does this a lot. She lies on the floor to think, or just likes to take a break from the world." He explained to the blue-eyed angel.  

"Oh, ok. I guess I'll just leave you to think." Cas said before standing to his feet again. 

Dean walked away with a smile on his face. Just as Cas was about to step away you tugged on the bottom of his trench coat.  He looked down at you. 

"Yes (y/n)." He says. 
"Would you like to join me?" You asked with a hopeful glint in your eyes. He gives you a soft smile before getting onto the floor next to you. 
He was currently just sitting next to you and you were looking up at him. "Well, are you gonna lie down Angel?" You asked 

He blushed a little bit before nodding. He lied on his back and stretched his legs out. You looked at him and there he was next to you staring straight at the ceiling with his usual look of concentration and soft confusion. Your smile brightened at the sight. "Cas, you know you don't have to concentrate on thinking so much. You can just give yourself a rest and relax." You said to him, and he turned his head to look at you. Your faces were inches apart, his blue eyes wide in surprise at the proximity between you both. 

"Ok, I will try not to concentrate. But it will be difficult with you next to me." He says, you could feel his breath fan across your face. Your eyes closed at the feeling. 
"Why would I make it so difficult?" You whisper. Your (e/c) eyes scan his face for an answer. 
"I find your face to be distracting, you seem to be all I think about." He admits and your heartbeat speeds up. Your cheeks turn red and eyes grow wide. 

"You think about me?" You ask in shock. He looks at you and nods. "Yes. Quite frequently. I'm not sure why, I feel so deeply for you. I don't know what this feeling is." He explains to you. 
You let out a giggle and smile at him softly. 

"Cas... are you saying you love me?" You ask with hesitation. He furrowed his eyebrows as if he's trying to think about what to say. 
"Yes, I think I am. I love you (y/n)." He says with confidence. 
You move a tiny bit closer so your noses are touching. You carefully turn onto your side, and use your elbow to prop you up. You're slightly hovering over Cas and he turned so he was looking up at you. 
"I love you too Castiel." You said before leaning down tentatively pressing a kiss to his soft pink lips. You pull away and when you open your eyes you see that his eyes are still closed, and lips slightly parted. You smile at the sight and press one last kiss to his lips. 

He opens his eyes and looks at you with surprise and adoration. You giggle at his expression. Before settling next to him again.  A smile settled on your face, and you glance over to see a smile on the Angel's face as well. 

Suddenly you feel him move closer to you, and intertwined his fingers with yours. 

There both of you lie at the bottom of the stairs, hands laced together and smiles etched across your faces.
