Sam:
Sam was a sympathetic man. Big hearted and sweet. Yet you still feel shy around him. You claim up immediately when he walks into the room, you blush at the mention of his name. You've never really been alone with him. Until today that is.

Dean had gone out to a bar for the evening and Cas was of course tending to Angelic and Heavily issues. You begged Dean to not leave you alone with his younger brother. You were closest to Dean and therefore you were most comfortable with him.

You pleaded for him to stay, but he knew you had to get over it sooner or later. He knew you were shy but you had known the brothers for so long and he knew that Sam was beginning to become upset that you weren't as open with him as you were with Dean.

Dean got out the door eventually and you cursed him under your breath.
You heard footsteps behind you and they came to a stop.

"Dean go to the bar?" Sam's asked. You froze a bit tensing your shoulders.
"Yeah he did." You said stiffly, before quickly walking past him.

You mentally cursed yourself for walking away like that. He probably thought you hated him, but it was the exact opposite.

You left Sam standing there with a hurt expression. Not knowing if he had done something wrong to make you like this with him.

He decided to confront you. He watched you walk away but this time he didn't just let you go.

"(Y/n), wait." He said. You stopped in your tracks and turned to face him. Your cheeks were warm. "Yeah." You responded.

"Can we talk? In the library?" He asked calmly. You hesitantly nodded your head. Your hands began to shake and your stomach flipped scared of what was about to happen.

You reached the library and Sam sat down, pulling out the chair next to him for you to sit down. You wished to sit in a different seat but politely took the space giving him a small 'thank you'.

Sam huffed a bit before speaking again.
"(Y/n), you're so distant with me. Whenever I speak to you, you answer so stiffly and cold. You walk away from where I am. Did- did I do something wrong?" He tiredly queried

You looked at him in surprise.
"No, no Sam of course not. You've done nothing wrong." You said. "Then what, what's happening?" He questioned.
"I'm just- I'm just really shy.. when it comes to you Sam. It's not your fault, I haven't meant to hurt you. I'm sorry I have. I'm just scared to...." you trailed off. Sam had his usual sympathetic demeanor, and his puppy dog eyes.

"I knew you were shy, I just thought since we've known each other for years you would have opened up to me by now. What are you scared of?" He asks, placing his hand over your shaking ones.

You look at him with tired eyes. "Sam, the moment you welcomed me here.. I knew I was gonna be home again. I immediately clicked with you both.." you took in a deep breath and he squeezed your hands. "I was scared of you Sam. I knew if I got too close to you I would fall too fast and so hard. I was scared to let my guard down and let you in so I instinctively retreat back into my shyness when you're around. I'm so sorry." You confessed.

You closed your eyes tightly to keep tears from falling. Trying not to embarrass yourself. Sam gazed at you with kind eyes.
"I want you to know. I'm here, I'm present in your life. I want to know you more than anything. I won't push you, but please let's fall together and never hit the ground. Let me love you, and show you it's ok. You can open up to me, let me know you." He stated.

Your eyes widened at his words and your cheeks flushed. "You want me?" You asked softly. He gave a small chuckle at your facial expression.

"Yeah I do, I have for a long time now..." he said before hesitantly placing a kiss on your hand.

You shyly looked at him with a small smile.
"I want you too."

You and Sam had been together for a few months now and things were going well. You had been opening up to him, letting him finally see you the way his brother got to. But even more so than Dean knew about you.

You sat in the motel room researching for a case you were on with the boys. You kept glancing at Sam and smiling without him looking. Dean saw this a few times and smiled.

"Dean what are you smiling about?" Sam asked with curiosity. Dean nodded his head to the side where you were sitting. "Why are you smiling because of her?" He asked seriously, a little bit of envy laced his tongue as he spoke.

Sam looked over at you just in time to see your beautiful (e/c) eyes gazing at him. With a smile gracing your lips. Realizing he caught you, you quickly blushed and buried yourself back into the book.

He smiled at your actions. "That's why I was smiling, Sam. She really loves you. I can see it." Dean said quietly.

You see Dean stand and stretch. "Well I'm going to get some food, I'll be back. You two kids better not be having sex in my bed when I get back." He pointed a finger at you both scolding you light heartedly.

You blushed even more. He left the room and the roar of the impala got further away. You turned towards your boyfriend to see him walking over to you. You smile at him and fiddle with your hands.

The bed dipped and Sam settled next to you. "You're adorable (y/n)." He said before tossing his arm around your shoulders pulling you close. You chuckled softly and cautiously slid closer to him. He looked down at you and held you a bit tighter.

You smiled at him and he kissed your head.

"I'm proud of you for trying to open up more. I know it's difficult, and knowing it's me your trusting your deepest secrets is an honor." He said. You wrapped your arms fully around him.

"Thank you for being patient with me. I never thought I would find someone who would love me and respect me as who I am. I never thought I'd find you Sam, and I did. " you said bashfully before burying your head in his chest.

"I can't wait to see all of you, because I know there is so much more than my shy girl."
