It was a really rainy day, and instead of feeling really lazy and sleepy, you were full of excitement and energy. You jumped up and down as you heard the rain fall outside. You ran into the main room, Sam was reading some lore book as usual, but you decided he needed a break so you snuck up behind him and wrapped your arms around his shoulders and kissed his cheek softly. He smiled and turned to look at you, "Hey Sam, we should go play in the rain!" You say with wide eyes and a child like excitement. He laughs and pulls you down to sit in his lap, putting his arms around your waist. "(Y/n), we'll get sick, we can't go out there." He says with a slight laugh. Your smile falls a bit at his words, " well then, I guess I'll have to go by myself." You say with a huff, and get off of Sam's lap beginning your walk to the door. He sighs and looks at you walk away " Alright, (y/n) I'll go with you!" He calls after you. You smile and look back at him, "Yay! Now hurry up Sammy!" You say happily, and run towards the door, and outside immediately getting soaked with rain. You laugh, and spun around. He walks over to the door after you and stops, seeing you spin around, laughing, with the biggest smile on your face. He smiles at you, and walks towards you. You started to sing, one of your favorite songs, and you feel someone grab your hand and spin you before pulling you closer. You open your eyes and look up at Sam, and see him smile his beautiful smile at you. "You know, if we get sick, I'm blaming you." He says playfully as he spins you around again. "That's ok, at least we'll be sick together!" You say over the rain pull him closer. You smile at him and he sweeps off the ground, and into his arms bridal style. You laugh and put your arms around his neck, throw your head back, and stick your tongue out to catch the rain. He looked at you and smiled so big, you lifted your head up and saw him looking at you. You leaned up and placed a small kiss on his lips, he leaned his forehead against yours. "Best day ever" You mumble and Sam laughs. All of a sudden you sneeze and he looks at you with an I -told-you-so face. You just shrug and smile at him. "It was worth it."
