Airport.

Tears, letters, flowers, foods from the fans I treated as family for as long as God knows— everyone came to see me leave for New York with Donny.

Everyone came maliban kay Ricci.

It better this way. Na he won't see me leave kasi I'm afraid, iiyak nanaman ako and I'll break down in his arms kapag nakita ko siya. Miss na miss ko na ang person ko. I miss my Ricci. My happy pill, my almost everything.

Elliana was crying in Donny's arms. Naiiyak rin ako dahil matagal na ulit bago kaming lahat magkita ulit. Hindi ako sanay na wala si Elliana, pati narin si Que lalong lalo na ang Green Archers na siyang naging saksi at nagdala sakin sa kung nasaan ako ngayon. Umiiyak din silang lahat at may ilang galit pa sa akin kasi sila ang pinaka huling nakaalam ng tungkol sa pagalis ko. Hindi ako kinausap ni Andrei at ni Jollo that day na nalaman nilang aalis na ako a few days after that day pero kinalaunan, pumunta silang lahat sa bahay at nagcrying session kami for the very last time.

"Time to go, mga anak." sabi ni Dad, regretting to inform us but he knew we had to leave already. "Alex, tatawag ka ah? Susulat, video call, magchachat, text, lahat?" bilin ni Brent habang nagiiyakan na ang mga tore ng Taft Avenue dito sa hatiran ng mga papasok sa International Departure area. I nodded and didn't get to speak at isa isa na silang hinalikan sa noo. "A-ako lang dapat ang mananakit at maninigaw sa inyo ha? Ako lang ang may karapatan na gawin yon sa inyo, okay ba?" sabi ko, crying while I was kissing everyone goodbye. Nang matapos ako, I took a step back and watched them for a second. Ninamnam ko ang panahong naririnig ko pa sila sa personal bago ako umalis. "Mahal ko kayo, sobra, mga gago kayo." sabi ko sa kanila at nagtinginan sila sakin. What I said made them cry even more. Paano ko naman iiwanan 'tong mga anak ko dito sa Pilipinas kung ngayon palang nagiiyakan na sila ng sobra?

Deep inside of me, I am hoping na Ricci would come. I want to see him one last time kahit alam kong jindi ko na siya pwedeng halikan o yakapin man lang bago ako umalis.

"Halika na, anak?" Dad said and waved goodbye to everyone who came to see me one last time. I whispered I love you sa kanilang lahat pati kay Elliana. Donny held my hand after he's asked permission and was allowed by Elliana, just like the old time. "Thanks, Dons. Puta, I can't imagine how difficult this may be for you." I cried again and he shushed me naman, chuckling and patted my forehead. "Its okay, little bean. You know I can't let you become a wreck. Its okay since I'm doing this for you naman." he said and comforted me.

I waved one last time sa kanilang lahat and blew them all a massive kiss.

"Ricci please..." my mind and heart pleaded at the same time, hoping he'd still come pero wala na yun. Paalis na kami, hindi na siguro yun hahabol. Ibibigay niya ang gusto ko at mas mahusay na siguro na ganun.

Sometime in the future maybe we can get together, maybe share a drink and talk awhile
And reminisce about the days when we were still together
Maybe someday further down the line
And I will meet you there
Sometime in the future we can share our stories
When we won't care about all of our mistakes, our failures, and our glories
But until that day comes along I'll keep on moving on. I'll keep on moving on
But hey I wish you all the best and maybe someday we might even meet again
