buffy - Chapter Five

the days passed by nothing huge happened but I was enjoying my self it was just andi and me for a couple days as Johan was going on vacation with his parents, Chloe was busy with swimming and other things so just me and andi, just like the old times, well without Cyrus andi didn't seem to see the gap he had left with us. But I was closer to Cyrus I suppose,

I hated the why I had said good bye to Cyrus I left after a huge fight with him not intentionally but that's how the timing worked out I can't even really remember why but he had really upset me and I really hurt him, Cyrus never bothered talking to me after that, or andi I suppose but they had been fine when I left

I keep thinking I should ask but I don't want to upset her maybe it was bad and she pushed it way or maybe he pushed her away,

"so, what do you wanna do today," andi asked braking me out of my thoughts as she brushed through her hair pulling it back into a ponytail, where she fixed her bangs to frame her face then turned to me, I had been lying on her bed, just yesterday we cleaned up the guest room so I had a bed to sleep in.

"well, could we go to the spoon for lunch for old times sake," I said putting down the magazine I was half-heartedly reading, well looking at well thinking some celebrity drama nothing interesting.

"Yeah sure, tater tots," andi grinned grabbing her wallet off of her dresser, then pulling her sneakers on, it was just about 12 so we could eat lunch, I hoped off the bed and pulled my shoes on and followed her out the door.

the walk was nice it wasn't stupid hot outside so the wind wasn't heavy but the breeze wasn't cold. when we got there a group of guys stood outside the diner,

"great, the basketball team, they must have just gotten back" andi sighed looking down at the pavement and trying to sneak past them for some reason they stood right infront Of the door, I followed her lead but sneaking a peak at the guys she wanted to avoid

There was twelve guys in total only three I knew Cyrus had grown up a little bit he wore a black tank and a purple button up open over top with kakye shorts and bord shoes he looked so happy as he stood next to tj who hadn't changed all that much but Tjs arm draped over Cyrus casually like it was no big deal, Cyrus laugh along to the conversation but tj and some other guys where doing all the talk then Tate stood next to Tj who had his arm around him then, Tate, he was leaning on some other guy about a foot taller then he was and perfectly built. Then I was in the diner as we sat down in a booth,

After we ordered tater tots i started to ask questions,

"So why are they such a big deal," I asked they had come inside all chilling in a booth on the other side to where we had been settled

"They are the basketball team the highest social class in are school, under them is there boyfriends and girlfriends, they own the tenth grade, so yeah the social arecie has labeled them important." Andi sighed she likely wasn't high up in the social classes, her only friend where Chloe and Jonah.

"Oh, so why don't you like them," I asked

"It's not that I don't like them or that there mean but they have a place in the school that is higher then mine there for if I talk to them I have to be something and I kinda like where I am" andi shrugged I had never thought of that she liked her friends so she was happy with her place at her school even though there were those above her,

"Yeah that makes sense" I nodded as the watrisse put are food down giving us a small smile then heading back to her work

"So what about you what are your friends like at your school" andi asked taking a baby tater

"There nice I play on the girls basketball team so I'm friends with all of them" to be honest I didn't really have friends such I was nice to my team mates and I would talk to them at school but after leaving my friends I had a hard time making new ones,

"Really hows the team then are you guys good" andi didn't press about the friends thing as much as I loved her she wasn't the best at seeing that I was lying,

"We where top of are school bored bracket so yeah we were pretty good but the boys team was better but some stupid rules I couldn't play since we had a female team" I told her as muched down on are food I kept looking over to Cyrus he was sitting next to tj but he was engrossed in conversation with Tate, he hadn't seen us or me at least I suppose he was fine with not talking to andi

"Why do you keep looking over at Cyrus" andi asked grabbing my attention back,

"Why don't you talk to him anymore why does he hang out with the basketball team" I ask she looked set back

"Cyrus and I stayed friends for a little bit after you left but he started dating tj and going out with the basketball team and I couldn't keep up so we lost touch, some people just don't fit he fits better with those guys they protect him and I fit better with johan and Chloe and you," andi sighed looking back at them her self, when Cyrus made eye contact with me giving only a small wave before he turned back to his friends, like we where nothing but old memories.
