Episode Six

Hazel wakes up in Valeska's car. What happened to me? She wondered. She sits up and sees them going down the road that lead to school.

“Well good morning. Hope your neck feels better.” Valeska said with a smirk.

“What happened to me? ” Hazel asked, unaware of what took place the previous day.

“Nothing, besides the fact that your dumb ass was injected with werewolf blood and you went psycho.” Valeska retorted.

“The last thing I remember was talking to Godrick on the bed.” Hazel said.

“Do you mean on the bed, or in the bed?” Valeska joked.

"Ha-ha you're such a comedian.” Hazel responded, irritated by the fact Valeska was joking.

They pull up in the school parking lot, and try to park; then someone beats Valeska to a free spot.

“Bloody hell! Hey you asshole, that's my spot! ” Valeska yelled out the window.

A man gets out of the car. He was Latin and looked like he was running for congress, especially with his huge briefcase.

Valeska stopped and stared at him, and he looked at her and smiled. A look of fear grew on Valeska's face— a face that Hazel never saw Valeska make.

“He found me.” She said quietly to herself.

“Who found you? ” Hazel asked.

“Oh, um nobody. Let's go inside.” Valeska said.

Hazel and Valeska walk into Mrs. Carnegie's class and sit at their desk. Hazel pulls out her material, but notices something.

Valeska vigorously types on her phone with a look of panic written on it. Hazel was intrigued by what Valeska was hiding.

“Hey, what happened to you yesterday? ” Gretchen asked as she sat down next to Hazel.

“Vampire drama.” Hazel answered.

“Looks like somebody else has some.” Gretchen replied, nodding towards Valeska.

“Alright class, let's have a seat.” Said a man in a suit and brief case. It was the man from earlier.

Valeska's eyes widened. This guy was intimidating to a New Born. That couldn't be a good sign.

“I'm your substitute teacher, Quinn Lanter.” He introduces.

“Where is Mrs. Carnegie? ” Gretchen asked.

“She came down with the flu. So I'll be here until she recovers. Let's go over the name chart and see who's here.”

Valeska seem to squirm around her desk. She was making her fear obvious, which was a sign of weakness. She had few weaknesses.

“Felicia Aarons. Devin Brown. Courtney Barkley. Valeska Corridor.” He says, looking up at her.

She looks pale. And paler than the dead person she was. Was she about to puke? Hazel was sure of it.

“Hello Ms. Corridor. How have you been? ” He ask with a smile of evil. Hazel too became worried. He obviously had connection with the supernatural world.

Use magic to knock him out. We need to leave, I'll explain later. Hazel texted Gretchen.

Okay. You and Leska need to cover your ears. Gretchen responded.

Hazel whispered it to Valeska. They covered their ears right as Gretchen started the spell.

Everyone in the class except them passed out. They scurried out of the building. to the library across the high school.
