Episode Six

Valeska and Hazel sit on the back of a pickup truck that Taven and Azalea found. The lay down so they don't lose balance and fly off.

“We have to do something to escape. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not be there prisoner for life.” Says Hazel.

“I would love to feed them to the squirrels, but we are weak against them. Maybe you can call your boyfriend.” Valeska suggested.

“I can't, Taven got touchy and took my phone from me.” Hazel explained.

“I think I have an idea.” Valeska said. She sat up and grabbed onto the railing. She jumped off and disappeared under the truck.

She fell out from under and motioned Hazel to jump down. She scrapes her knee and it slowly heals. They needed blood and bad.

“What did you do?” Hazel asked Valeska.

The truck started to swirve then crashed into a tree and caught fire. “I may or may not have messed with the brakes.” Valeska laughed.

Ezra throws a bag of Doritos in Ethan's lap, who is still chained up to a chair in the sewers.

“Is this suppose to be a meal? Because this won't fill me.” Ethan weakly says, sweat dripping off his bloody lips.

Ezra jabs a syringe in Ethan's neck so his magic would remain numb. Ethan howls in pain, but embraces the feeling. Alice had a plan.

“I need you cooperate with me, what do you say?” Ezra leaned in to Ethan's face.

“Where is your sister? I'd rather negotiate with her?” Ethan asks. Ezra walks out of the room. Ethan tries to move, but he is far too weak. Alice walks in.

“What do you want?” She asks.

“What am I suppose to do? He's getting impatient and I don't know how much longer I can hang on.”

“I need you to summon Alder, but that is later. In order for that, you need magic, which you don't have. Agree to Ezra, but tell him it has to be during the full moon. That way, you'll have a few days. And don't give in too easily, make him work for it.” Alice explains.

Hazel and Valeska walk into the Corridor mansion, covered in dirt and twigs. They stumble towards the cooler and grab blood.

“Where have you two been?” Roak asks.

“Kidnapped by two crazy witches, where the bloodly hell have you been?” Valeska retorts.

“Where's Godrick?” Hazel asked.

“Went to South Carolina. Something about an old foe to kill. He'll be back soon. So, Taven and Azalea took you two?” Roak asks.

“Yeah, long story short we wrecked their car, and escaped. Chances are they will come back and since we have no magic barrier, they will kill us.” Valeska rambles.

“We have to hide.” Roak says.

“No, tonight is my last prom. Gretchen and I were going to go on a double date, but I guess I'm going alone. We can't miss it.” Hazel states.

“Fine, we go to the prom, then leave town.” Valeska says. “After all, I was homecoming queen, I have to attend.”

Ezra enters the room with a bottle of water. He pours it into a steel cup and begins to chop something.

“I've thought about your offer, but I don't see how it benefits me.” Ethan mumbles.
