Deception of Reality

Episode Two

Hazel and Gretchen walk into their Microbiology class. It is a huge room and everyone there is a new face. They felt out of place.

They sit in the back of the room. It seemed of brimstone and was dull lighted. The walls were white and everything else was gray.

"This is way worse than I expected." Gretchen whispered.

"What, the fact we have to take this class, or the fact our dormmate is a stalker?" Hazel asked.

"Both. Mostly the second one. Did she say it she had any classes today?" Gretchen inquired.

"I think she had a history course or something." Hazel retorted.

Then the class room door opens again. Marlene walks in, and behind her is Mindy. They sit in the front together.

"Oh shit." Hazel breathed.

"What?! Why is she in this class?" Gretchen whispered.

"My question is, how does she know Marlene?" Hazel says.

Irene waits outside Ethan's house impatiently. After a minute or two, he comes outside.

"It's about time. I have been waiting for like ever." Irene says.

"More like two minutes. I had to get spell books if we are going to locate Alice." Ethan explained.

They walk to the Salsburg playground near the park, which was always empty. They sit in the field and he reads his book.

"Are you gonna do the spell yet, or what?" Irene whines.

"I can't. A spell this powerful has to be performed by a more powerful magic holder." Ethan replies.

"Such as?"

"We have to go to Ravenwood."

Hazel walks around campus talking to Valeska on the phone. Gretchen was spying on Marlene and Mindy.

"So she stalked you, and is friends with the girl who invited you to a party?" Valeska asked.

"Basically. Which makes me wonder if this party is a trap of some sort."Hazel says.

"She didn't tell you who was throwing the party?" Valeska questions.

"Well yeah. Some guy named Claudius. She said he throws parties like this all the time."

"How can a freshman to the college know that? She knows the place just as much as you do."

"You are right. Something isn't right. Can you come here and help me solve this? It has Gretchen and me scared."

"I have to finish business with the new born werewolves and a snooty human. But I should be able to make that party tonight." Valeska says.

"Thank you, a thousand times thank you." Hazel says.

"On a few terms. One, I can bring Alicianna. We have business together. Two, Roak gets invited. I haven't seen him in awhile." Valeska states.

"Fine, whatever." Hazel hangs up.

Gretchen walks past Hazel. She doesn't look at her, so Hazel runs to her fastly. She still doesn't look, so Hazel grabs her.

"Hey." Hazel says.

"Oh, hi." Gretchen weakly says.

"Well, what did you find out?" Hazel asked.

"Um, we were wrong. I asked Mindy about it and she said that she had never seen them before. Maybe we imagined it."
