Episode Eight

A coven of witches sit in a circle deep in the dense forest of Oregon. They chant their magic and as they do so a fire appears in the middle of the circle and the flame takes the shape of a serpent.

It slithers around in the circle, panicking. They chant some more, but with more passion. Once they do so, the snake explodes and ember flies off in every direction.

“Brothers, sisters, we have finally found a way to communicate with dead spirits! Imagine what more we can do! ” Exclaimed the coven leader, Etalia.

“That's great.” Said someone. The coven turn around to see Valeska and Vladimir.

“The New Born!” Etalia says. Immediately the whole coven stands up and joins hands.

“We aren't here to hurt you, we want your help.” Vladimir assures them.

“How? ” Etalia asked.

“To kill Fitzgerald Carter.”

Syndrick sits up and begins to cough. He looks at Lillith who gives him a warm smile. He wanted to run and slam her against the wall, but he couldn't do that. He loved her.

“I'm sorry, Syndrick. We had to do it.” She informed him.

“I figured as much.” He smiled.

She looked it his red-murderous eyes and looked away. He grabbed her head and made her face him. She had blood running down her face.

“Why do you cry at the sight of me? ” He asked her.

“Because Syndrick, I miss you. I have missed you for years— which felt like eternity. Can you blame me? ” Lillith cried.

“I am right here. There is no need to long for me.”

“I meant the old you. The one who was so corrupted with vengeance. The Syndrick I knew would never kill his brothers. He would never kill innocent humans and ditch his morals. You changing broke me.”

His face muscles tightened and he seemed to tremble. He looked away from Lillith. The thought of doing all those things seemed to destroy him.

“I'm so sorry, but I felt alone and—” He began.

“But you had me! I was there for you but obviously that meant nothing since you left me to cause havoc.” Lillith cut him off.

“Again, I'm sorry. It's foolish of me to even think that it was the best option. I'm not in the mood for emotions, so can we discuss this at a later—”

Lillith began to kiss him. He didn't break away, instead he embraced her. They finally rekindled an old flame.

“Are you sure these people would be willing to help us? ” Gretchen asked Ethan as they walked down an empty back road.

“They should be, they are the toughest people I know.” Ethan answered.

“What are they again?” Gretchen asked.

“Vampire/Werewolf hunters.” Grinned a girl.

“Sage! ” Ethan shouted as he ran up and hugged her.

Behind her was about sixteen others. They all wore black leather outfits and had different fighting devices. Sage seemed to be the only pleasant one.

“So why'd you wanna talk to me and my tribe? ” Sage asked Ethan.

“There is going to be a war. Vampires versus other supernatural. We need your expertise to help kill them.” Gretchen said.

“How many vamps we talking? ” She asked.

“A hundred or more.” Ethan said with a smile, hoping she wouldn't freak out.

“No way! There is only seventeen of us.” She retorted.

“Our other friends are working on building an army. You'll have other allies, including us.” He assured her.

She seemed hesitant at first, but she then smiled. She grasped Ethan and Gretchen's hands and shook them.

“Deal.”

Asher and Hazel follow Dominik into The Den, the pack's gathering spot in the gigantic cave. They all seem to howl even though they weren't in wolf form.

“He is going to help us, right? ” Asher asked Hazel.

“He better, or he might as well fight along Fitzgerald's side.” She said.

“Don't worry Bella, I will, I just need you both to convince my pack to.” Dominik answered.

“I'm not Bella, and can't you just force them to? ” Hazel asked.

“I am there leader, not their dictator.” He said.

“That seems a bit counterintuitive. ” Asher commented.

Before they knew it, the were standing on a rock that towered over the other wolves. Once they saw Hazel, they went silent.

“My name is Hazel Wilson. I'm a vampire who is in desperate need of all of your assistances. A powerful vampire has challenged us all to war, and I want us all to remain free. So fight along our side to secure your freedom, or let us fail and lose your freewill.”

They all look at each other and nod. In the crowd, Hazel saw Isaac and Luna. They gave her a look of innocence with tears.  Blood seeped from Hazel's eyes.

“Seems as if we are in.” Dominik says, ruining the eye contact.

“Great. ”Asher said, “Tomorrow morning, Berlin.”

“My coven can't take on Fitzgerald Carter! There is only but twelve of us. Besides, we can't revolt against him.” Etalia told Valeska.

“Too bad. You help us or Vladimir and I will kill all of you.”

“This isn't what Edith would want us to do. We cannot help you.” Etalia firmly stated.

“Edith?” Valeska asked.

“Just help us and we can go back to living in harmony.” Vladimir begged.

“.... We will help, but only because witches hate vampires and Fitzgerald is a vampire.” She broke down.

“Well it's about damn time she made up her mind! We meet in Berlin, Germany tomorrow. Don't be late.” Valeska said.

Alice walked into the motel room to see that it was empty. She ran for the bathroom like her life depended on it.

“Tried Mexican food? Check.” She said to herself.

She felt so useless now that she was mortal. All she did was explore Moscow and the whole week, she only ate burritos and rice. She had never felt so bored.

She then went to the sink to wash her hands and saw something on the sink. It was oddly shaped and looked like a thermometer.

She examined it. The device was damp and reeked but she couldn't make out what it was. That is until she saw two pink lines. She dropped it, disgusted and began to gag.

“What the hell?! ” Lillith screamed.

“Well I know what you've been doing for the last few days. I told you that you were a vampire slut.” Alice gagged.
