Most Dangerous Game

Episode Three

Alice and Gene walk out of a supermarket  carrying a bunch of groceries for Hazel. Of course Alice on has one bag where Gene had five, but that's beside the point.

"Why do we have to babysit Hazel? It's boring." Alice whined.

"Because she is my maker and is pregnant. It's the right thing to do." Gene plays morality police.

Just as he opens the car door, a wooden arrow pierces his chest. He looks down at it. He rips it out, then surveys his surroundings.

"Woah, you got blood on your shirt. That's gonna stain." Alice makes a face.

"And then an arrow came out of nowhere and struck me!" Gene tells Hazel.

"Must've missed your heart." Hazel examined the wound.

"Vampire hunters. On campus!" Nora jumped up on the counter top.

"What if they find this place? We have to stop them." Emily says.

"I suggests that Hazel handles them." Alice says, sipping on a milkshake.

"I'm a vampire and pregnant." Hazel reminds her.

"Yeah, I know." Alice grinned.

"Speaking of which, have you been to the hospital?" Emily asked Hazel.

"Ha, funny you asks..... no." Hazel admits.

"You are suppose to go once a month, plus it's a human baby so it's way more sensitive." Nora says.

"That's it, I'm taking you." Gene grabs his coat.

"No, it's fine. I have too much going on to see a baby that'll be here in a matter of months." Hazel tries to stop him.

"Nice try. We are going. Emily, Nora, you all and Alice go research our hunter problem." Gene commands.

"Yes ma'am." Alice snorted.

Valeska is blinded by sunlight. She sits up and tries to fix her sight. It was the sun. She hadn't seen it's radiant glow in what felt like forever.

She looks at her surrounds and notices that she is under the covers of a bed. She looks next to her and sees Khlovis with his head buried in a pillow.

The is confused about what happened. The last thing she could remember was her telling him where the villa was. Then her eyes grew with realization. It all came back to her.

I didn't?! She thought. She tries to weasel her way out of his bed, but every time she moved, he would moan. She finally was fully put of the bed.

"Your capabilities are superb." Khlovis says.

She becomes startled and turns. He sits straight up and examines her. She looks down and notices her skin showing. She takes the covers to shield herself from his sight.

"I..." She was speachless.

"Seriously. I've slept with thousands of creatures: humans, werewolves, shape shifters, witches, but never a vampire. I don't think I want to lose that." He adds.

"Lose what?"

"Having you as my best. After last night, I don't want to see you go." Khlovis puts clothes on and tosses her one of his shirts to wear.

"I am pretty awesome." Valeska blankly says while dressing.

"I think I love you." Khlovis reveals.
