"So Tony, what's your plan?" I asked nervously from the passenger seat of Tony's car.

Tony had discovered that Peter was SpiderMan, something I'd wanted hidden. At least from Tony, maybe Cap would be able to use Peter's skills. But Tony beat me to the punch, so here I was in the car with Tony headed to May's apartment.

Tony sighed and gripped the steering wheel with white knuckles. "Find out if your boyfriend can help out."

I nodded as he parked the car. Tony gave me a goofy one-sided grin, and I realized I hadn't corrected him on the 'boyfriend' part. It was too late now.

I opened my door, leading Tony to the lobby and to the elevator.

He kept checking his watch while I bounced on my feet.

"Yup, Tony, it's still the same time as it was two seconds ago," I said.

"Shut up, Y/L/N."

I allowed my eyes to roll to the back of my head. "Yes sir."

The elevator dinged, and we exited before the doors closed again.

I made my way to Peter's door, Tony following with his hands clasped behind him.

I knocked on the door, and in my jumpiness, knocked again.

Tony frowned. "You didn't even give them any time-"

Tony was cut off as May pulled open the door with a big grin.

I had been instructed by Tasha to keep Tony at a respectable distance. "Hey May!" I greeted cheerily. "I have my boss with me, Tony-I mean, Mr. Stark."

Tony smiled widely, trying to use his disarming smile on May, who just looked confused.

"Oh, okay, how can I help?" She asked, looking very bewildered.

I put my hand on Tony's arm. "Well, he'd like to speak with Peter. Is he home yet?"

Something clicked in May's brain. "No, and come to think of it, neither should you! It's a school day."

Well...not when you're homeschooled part-time by Clint or Tasha. Sometimes Wanda. "Er....yeah. I got out on..a work thing, Ms. Parker."

May nodded. "Come on in!"

Tony pushed me out of his way, and I grumbled as I sat on May's couch. "How about some walnut date loaf?" She offered form the kitchen.

I gave Tony a 'don't do it' look, and he smiled. "Sure!"

I face palmed, but quickly sat back up as May returned. "Thanks Ms. Parker."

She set the plate down, sitting beside Tony. "Please, it's May."

I smiled greatfuly, hoping she wouldn't go on.

"You're practically family," she added with a grin. Then she turned to Tony. "I mean, she's always here with Peter."

Tony gave me a 'oh really?' look.

I smiled as realistically as possible.

Soon, Tony was flirting as I resisted the urge to gag.
