I climbed onto the bus, hoping Peter hadn't run off. I hadn't spoken to him since I left his hotel room.

And I was so freaking tired, and wanted my human pillow.

"Everyone ready to head home?" Liz asked, dropping onto a seat heavily.

Her eyelids drooped.

MJ was already asleep, taking up an entire row to herself.

"Yes!" I answered with faux cheer.

Ned meandered on, crashing onto a seat and slumping over.

Peter walked on after him.

He spotted me, and turned red.

Flash noticed. "You two sleep together last night Parker? Did you finally manage to get laid?"

"Wh-n-no!" Peter answered, flustered to no end.

I threw an eraser with such precision that it smacked Flash square on the nose.

"Hey!" He protested.

I stuck my tongue out at him. "Peter'll get laid far before you ever do!"

Liz managed a weak chuckle.

Peter rubbed his eyes, face even redder.

I waited till Flash sat down with a huff to wave Peter over.

His face was still red from what I said and what Flash said, but he walked to me, sitting uneasily next to me. "That was embarrassing."

I pulled his hand onto my lap. "Relax," I said softly. "It's okay."

He nodded stiffly.

"Tired?" I asked. I felt so tired I hardly remember what I said.

He nodded, eyelids slowly closing.

I put a hand softly on his head, applying pressure so he leaned over into my lap.

His head rested on my thighs, and his hand laid lazily on my knee.

Tired as I was, Peter came first.

I lay my head back and closed my eyes. I let my fingers absently play with his hair. This gave him goosebumps all over, and I tugged a bit at his hair to make him shiver. My other hand rested on his hip, picking a thread on his sweater.

I was asleep before the bus took off.

We haven't been to a movie theatre in three years.

My parents refused to go. If I wanted to see a movie, I'd have to wait till it came out.

But I drove my parents so crazy, they finally gave in and took me to the theatre to see Infinity War. My dad bought the tickets right then and there at the dinner table after I brought it up for, quite literally, the fiftieth time since it had come out five days ago.

First movie we've been to in three years.

And it made me cry so hard.
