I opened my eyes to a very heroic looking person in a dark suit standing above me.

Oh, it's still Peter.

I shook my head, and blinked several times.

Is this what being in Tony's head looks like? I mean, his helmet? Cause I have a screen in front of my face. "Hello miss."

I jumped. "Hello?"

"My name is Wednesday."

I looked at my hands. They were covered in what looked like itty bitty black metal scales.

"Mr. Stark, it smells like a new car in here!" Peter announced.

I took a deep breath, now that I could do so.

Tony flew up above us.

I looked down.

I wished I didn't.

"Happy trails kids," Tony said curtly. "FRIDAY, send 'em home."

"Oh come on!" Peter and I shouted in unison, as parachutes popped out of our suits, and we flew off the donut.

Okay, maybe we didn't exactly fly off the donut.

Maybe we held on to the side of it...maybe we crawled inside.

Maybe we're a few inches from each other, hissing to one another.

"You're an idiot! We should've stayed on the damn bus!" I hissed.

"I'm not an idiot! I had to help!" He hissed.

"You're not an avenger! Let me do it!" I hissed.

Lots of hissing.

And I regretted telling Peter he wasn't an avenger, so I added, "Okay, you're not an avenger yet. And if you die, you won't ever be! So try not to die!"

He interrupted me by yanking me against him, hugging me tightly.

I gasped, but hugged him back slowly. "I'm sorry Peter. I just love you is all."

His breath hitched.

He didn't say it back.
