I waited exactly ten minutes before teleporting to the roof.
I landed a few feet behind Peter, who was currently talking to someone.
I ducked behind a vent, peaking out to try to see whoever he was talking to.
After about two minutes I deduced he had an AI like FRIDAY and Jarvis.
I waited till Peter jumped away, before following.
He'd be so mad if he knew.
But I had to protect him.
You know, if Tony hadn't found him, then he wouldn't be in dangerous situations like this.
No one would know he was such a big deal if he hadn't gone to freaking Germany and fought the Avengers. I wouldn't have to chase him around the states, trying to keep him from getting killed. I wouldn't have to worry about loosing Romeo.
He wouldn't have to worry about Juliet.
I had made a huge mistake.
I'd stayed hidden while I almost laughed at Peter, who's new Protocol-less suit wasn't doing what he wanted it to.
When Peter had finally managed to figure out his stupid suit, the Vulture-at least, I think that's who it is-had shown up.
And right now Peter was fighting him.
I teleported to the truck to hear, "Hey big bird! This doesn't belong to you!" As I landed in front of Peter. The vulture didn't seem too happy about this, and flew at us.
Both Peter and I shot something at him.
Peter's was useless, but mine knocked a chunk of metal off.
"Suit lady, what was that?!"
The piece of metal hit me, sending me spinning to the edge.
"Oh god," Peter mumbled.
I yelped and straightened myself out, then I spun to face the winged dude, who flew to Peter, and in the process knocked me over the head.
I landed on the top the truck, groaning and in a huge amount of pain.
His wing had hit my head spot on. It was pain like no other. Right in the temple.
My vision was going blurry.
Peter and the Vulture dueled a little, then Peter was knocked into the truck.
The winged guy lifted me up with his huge metal claws while I fought against them, and tossed me in after Peter.
I landed hard, and blacked out after watching Peter smack his head on the top of the truck.
I groaned.
That's the first thing I did. That's the only thing I wanted to do because of this monster headache.
I opened my eyes, seeing the same loading van I'd crashed into.
Correction, thrown into.
My clothes, which I'd changed into in those ten minutes of waiting, were torn and slightly burnt.
I sat up barely, which hurt my head. I saw Peter, who lay limp on the floor.
My head hurt worse as I said, "Peter! You-you gotta get up."
He didn't hear me I suppose.
"Come on Peter," I tried again. "Peter."
He stirred, sitting up and clutching his head. "Oh, my head."
He stood up slowly, "Hey, so where am I right now?"
"Oh, thank god you're okay," I realized he wasn't talking to me. Why did he get an AI? I didn't! "Peter!" I said, more sternly.
He spun around in alarm, seeing me. "Y/N! What happened to you?!"
I couldn't sit up anymore and fell back to my back. "We...we crashed in here, Peter. Sitting up hurts," I added the last bit in a whiny tone.
Peter kneeled beside me, placing one hand on my forehead. "Suit lady says you have a mild concussion."
"No shit, Sherlock," I muttered.
Peter's suits eyes widened a little. "What do I do?"
Whatever the response was, I wasn't awake to hear. My world went black again as I fainted.
