Space Lady, or uh, Carol, and Tasha, Steve, Rocket (the talking Build-A-Bear raccoon) Rhodey, and Nebula loaded into the ship Tony and I had arrived in.

Now it was fixed, and they could do that sort of thing. Tasha had told me I wasn't aloud to come.

This didn't stop me, of course, from sneaking on.

I sat on the ground behind Tasha's chair, almost invisible. Perfect, I thought, until we took off. Then I was gripping her seat in terror.

"Okay, who here hasn't been to space?" Rocket asked.

Everyone I knew raised their hands. I had been to space, I just got back. And to be honest, I really didn't want to go back. But I wanted to save Peter, I had to save Peter, and this was my last chance to bring him back.

"You better not throw up on my ship," Rocket muttered.

I looked at him from behind Tasha's chair, leaning out a bit. Until I made eye contact with Space Lady on accident, and I quickly hid again.

I could still see her through the slats in the chair, and she smirked. She winked at me. I didn't know if I-FUCK.

The ship went super fast, sending me flat against the back of the ship, my whole body pressed against it. No wonder Space Lady smirked. I remained like this for a good while, until the ship slowed down, and I was no longer 2 Dimensional.

The ship touched down on the planet carefully, and the back opened up. I slowly stood up, woozy and dizzy.

Rocket looked at me with a fuzzy frown. "Hey, I know you. You're the daughter, aren't you?"

"The daughter of who?" Tasha asked.

"I wasn't talkin' to you, I was talkin' to the one behind you." Rocket rolled his eyes at Tasha, who was halfway through unbuckling. "She's your daughter, ain't she?"

Everyone looked at me. My name was shouted at least four times, chorused with 'what are you doing here' and 'you should be back on earth' and 'this is dangerous, you're too weak to be here!'

I held up my hands. "Shut up! Just shut up!"

Everyone went silent. Tasha looked away, suddenly too tired to fight me.

"I have to help," I said in a small voice, "I have to. I lost too, you know. I just-I just want to be able to say I did something. I tried. I.....I want Peter back."

Steve stared at me for a long time before nodding. "I get it, doll. I get it."

And they let me come with them. We walked for a while, through what reminded me of earth. Mountains and trees, grass dirt and bugs. Rocket the raccoon, I learned, was very sassy. He kept making comments about everyon's costumes. Only to me, which I found flattering.

"Roadster here looks like a walking soda can," he muttered, pointing at Rhodes.

I smiled down at him. "You're not wrong."

Rhodey gave me a look.

We stopped when we spotted a run-down cabin.

"Is that it?" I asked Space Lady. She nodded, giving me a grim look. I felt my stomach churn.
