I sat in Peter's room. "Peter, don't even think about it," I snarled.

He sat on his bed, his SpiderMan suit under his clothes.

"What're those smart people going to think when Peter leaves and SpiderMan replaces him?" I continued, pacing back and forth in front of Peter's bed, where he sat.

"Peter," I urged him. He didn't respond. "Oh my god! You're such an idiot! What if someone connects the dots, Peter?!"

He looked like a kid getting yelled at.

"Look, Peter, Liz likes SpiderMan, not you. You need someone who loves Peter first, not SpiderMan first," I said, still pacing.

He looked hurt. "Y/N, stop it."

I stopped pacing. "I'm sorry Peter, I care, okay?"

He looked confused for a moment. "O-okay."

"I don't want you hurt, either emotionally or physically!" I cried in a whisper.

He nodded to the floor. "I don't want you hurt either."

"Then promise me, you'll be careful. Please," I stepped closer to him, kneeling in front of him and placing my hands on his. He looked up at me. "Peter, you're an amazing guy."

He blushed.

"If she hurts you, I'll make sure no one can identify her burned and mutilated body," I said in a deep and serious tone.

Peter shivered. "You're serious, aren't you?"

I nodded. "100 %."

He laughed a little. "Thanks sweetie."

"You kids coming?" May called from down the hall.

I sighed, standing up and reaching my hands out to Peter. "Come on dummy. Let's go get you in trouble."

He glared, not taking my hands.

"Peter, SpiderMan is not a party trick, alright?" I said in a stern tone. Then I sighed and once again dropped my tone. "But I don't want you to be mad at me. I'm sorry I called you an idiot."

He gave me a squinty eyed look. "Alright," he took my hands and I led him out.

"And I forgive you sweetie."
