Madnessa Love Story.

Part 5- "I missed you so much"

1 year later (Vanessa PoV)

I heard that Riverdale is looking for someone to play Toni Topaz.
I immediately called and I got the part! They know I auditioned for Josie, so they told me I didn't need to audition again.
Shannara Chronicles ended already.
Kinda sad, but also kinda happy because I'm going to be with my bestfriend!
I booked a flight to Vancouver asap, plus I didn't tell Madelaine about any of this because I know she would freak out plus, I wanted to surprise her.
I told Travis, even though I have alittle crush on my bestfriend doesn't mean I'm not going to stop supporting her, and her decisions.

Finally, arrived to Vancouver after 14 hours in the plane. I called Travis to pick me up and take me to my apartment, and gladly he showed up.

"Hey Vanessa!" Travis says giving me a tight hug. "Hey Travis." I say, returning his hug.
"Ok, Madelaine doesn't know you're here, so we have to do this fast. I told her I was going to the store." He says.
"Okay. Let's go to your house first." I say impatiently, wanting to see Madelaine already.
"Don't you want to put your stuff up first?" He asks, grabbing my luggage, and inserting them into his car.
"It can wait." I shrugged.
He nods and we walk over to his car.

20 minutes later...
We arrived to Travis and Madelaine's house.
We went over a plan and that was that Travis goes in first obviously, then he will distract her and by texting me, as I sneak inside and surprise her.
He was inside and I finally the text,  and now it's time to surprise her.
I quickly walk inside and I ducked down to see her in the couch on her phone.
Travis saw me, he raised his eyebrows and waved his hand, signaling that it's time.
I got up from the floor, and say, "Madelaine."
She turns around and looks up at me and she quickly gets up and hugs me tight.
"Omg, Vanessa! I missed you so much!" She sobs, putting her neck on my chest, while hugging me.
"Hey don't cry." I whispered, trying to comfort her.
She pulls away from are hug and smiles at me, staring directly into my eyes.
"How are you here? I thought you were still shooting?" Madelaine asks confused.
"Shannara Chronicles ended Mads, and I get to play Toni in Riverdale!" I say enthusiastically, jumping up and down from excitement.
Travis widens his eyes, clearly shocked at the instant surprise.
"Wh- what!" She stutters, and smiles, while she hugs me tightly again.
"Yeah, Roberto said he needed someone to play Toni Topaz, so here I am!" I scream.
"Omg! Yay! So now you don't have to leave, you get to stay with me!" She smiles excitedly.
"Yup." I say, while I look at the time.
It's  10:45 pm, shit I have to leave if not, I won't be able to sleep.
"Hey Mads, I need to go. Tomorrow we start shooting and I don't want the be late on the first day." I laugh.
She frowns, but quickly says, "Okay. I'll see you tomorrow then."
"Bye Mads. Love you." I smile as I walked through the door.
"Love you too Nessa." She says.
I walk out and drive to my apartment quickly.

(Madelaine poV)

I'm so happy Vanessa is back! We've been talking all day, everyday for the past year. I'm so glad she's my bestfriend. Sometimes I feel this jealousy in my stomach when I see her with other guys, but honestly, I think it's maybe it's just sickness or something. I can't possibly like my bestfriend right? I don't know my mind is weird. Maybe I just need some sleep, so that's what I did.
