Akash's POV: The present time

Life has been going great for the past week. This entire week I was busy planning how to confess to Muskaan and ask for her forgiveness. I was worried though when Arya showed up...I thought that my plan is going down the drain! Anyways right now I'm sitting at Virat's house waiting for him to come back from...wherever he went.
You may be wondering if Virat's family were shocked my my arrival. To answer your question...they weren't.
Why? Well I kept on talking to them over the past years and never broke contact with them. So me coming to their house was sort of unexpected but...they weren't surprised.

"Akash?" Ah there he is!
"Virat! How are you?" I said as I got up to go greet Virat
"What are you doing here?" Virat asked
"I....I...I don't know" I confessed. I wasn't lying though! I really didn't know why I was here! Actually this has been happening quite often! I usually do something without knowing why I did it.
"Hello? Earth to Akash!" Virat said as he waved his head in front of my face
"Yeah?" I asked
"You come to my house but you don't know why you are here?" Virat asked with an arched eyebrow
"Well...yes" I confessed
"You crazy?" Virat said
"Virat! Is this how you talk to a friend?" Veena auntie (Virat's Mom) said
"Sorry mummy! Let's go Akash!" Virat said as he literally dragged me out the door
"Arrey! Kya jaaye che? (Hey! Where are you going?)" Veena Auntie asked
"Aavu chu mummy! (I'm coming Mom)" Virat said as he pushed me into his Jeep and started driving
"Viru? Where are we going?" I asked
"Why are you here!?" Virat asked in an annoyed tone
"Wow Virat I never knew you would be so rude!" I said in a fake angry tone
"Sorry! You just came unexpectedly! I was already tensed!" Virat said
"Why?" I asked

Virat then explained the entire court case and how Muskaan abused him right outside the courthouse. I was surprised when Virat told me that he was an intelligence oficer! Like I was thinking that he was working in some software company! I never thought him of all people would become an intelligence officer! Wow!

"Oh! Didn't you said that Makhi wouldn't tell anyone?" I asked
"Yes! She did say so! Although, Guddi and her are best friends! She might tell her by mistake!" Virat sighed
"Still, why is it a problem that I am here?" I asked
"It wouldn't be a problem if I had already called Shagun to go out with me!" Virat said with a scowl
"Ohhhhhh! You are going out on a date?" I said teasingly
"No! A date is between two lovers! She likes me...not loves me!" Virat said
"Where are you taking me though?" I asked
"You are going back to your house!" Virat said
"My car is at your house!" I lied
"Oh shut up! You didn't bring your car!" Virat said. My friend knows me too well...

Virat then dropped me off at my house and sped off. He was really in a hurry...I smirked.

I went inside my house...it was quite big. I don't know why I have such a big house. Not like anyone lives in here except me and my darling Mumtaz!

Yes you heard right! My sweetie, darling, sunshine! My one true love...actually that place went to Muskaan a while back. She is definitely the one I love! She loves me back! Life couldn't be any better! Actually it could!
Just me and my Mumtaz in this giant house! I love her so much!

I then went upstairs to her room. She must be waiting for me!

I slowly opened her door! Looks like my darling is awake!
"Mumtaz! Look darling I am back!" I said

Mumtaz then got up and flew into my arms...literally...
