Chapter 29

Muskaan's POV: the present.......

"After listening to Sunny tai's love story, I was speechless. Sunny tai had seen the love of her life die in her arms.....and she got to know the truth when the man was dying! If she had listened to his side of the story beforehand, she would have been happily married to the love of her life, and she wouldn't be working as maid at our house...not that we consider her as a maid, but still! She shouldn't have just jumped to a conclusion!-"

"I'm surprised that you are saying this Makhi!" Virat said, after I had heard Sunny tai's story, here was soooo much inside of me that I desperately needed to vent out! So here I am at Virat's house in his room....and yes Shagun is here too.

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I mean aren't you doing the same thing to Akash?" Shagun asked in a soft voice.

"I..-" The ring of Virat's phone cut me off, I raised my eyebrows to ask who it was....he simply showed me the phone....it was Akash. I tilted my head to tell him to pick up the phone, so he did, and he put it on speaker mode.

"Hello" Virat answered

"What hello! Virat Sharma I asked you to meet me at 5:00 in the evening...do you even know what time it is? It is freaking 7:00....why the hell are you not here yet!" Akash yelled. Just like he used to...I guess somethings never change...

"So? Should I spend more time with you or my girlfriend?" Virat answered as he kissed Shagun's cheek, which caused Shagun's face to turn into a shade of light pink.

"What the...If you wanted to spend time with Shagun then you could have said that you will meet me later...why would you make me wait for 2 whole hours!" Akash replied.

"Sorry bro, I got distracted!" Virat said as he looked at Shagun..which caused her to hide her face with a pillow on Virat's bed (since she was blushing so much)

"What the f*ck do you mean by distracted! Were you doing homework that you got distracted!" Akash yelled. This made me want to laugh...even his sense of humor is the same!

"Let it be...you won't understand!" Virat said as he smiled

"What do you mean that I won't understand!" Akash replied. Virat looked like he was getting irritated, he harshly replied...

"You need a girlfriend to understand....wait my bad! I forgot..you don't have one cause you f*cked up your chance of having one in college! You know for how long I've been trying to get Shagun to like me! Now when we are finally together...you're not letting me have any fun! Go die in a hole!" Virat said. The look on Shagun's face when Virat said 'you are not letting me have any fun!' was classic! Her face changed emotions like a chameleon changes colours! Her expressions changed from shocked, to happy, to shy in just a matter of seconds

"Ughhhh! You and your thoughts! Ghatiya the..aur ghatiya rahenge! (They were dirty and they will remain dirty) Hurry up! I want to tell you something!" Akash said as he immediately disconnected the call.

"What were you saying to Akash!" Shagun said as she playfully hit Virat on the shoulder.

"That....that's just a preview of what I'm going to have to make up in the future" Virat said as he brought his face closer to Shagun.

"W..what do you mean?" Shagun asked..her cheeks were beginning to get red again (gosh this has to stop!)

"I mean, after we get married...god knows what I'm going to have to make up to spend some time with you!" Virat said as he brought his face even closer to Shagun so that their noses were touching! They just stared into each other's eyes with so much love, I didn't want to disturb them but I feared that I was going to have to see their DA (display of affection) so I immediately cleared my throat to grab their attention, thankfully it worked and both of them moved away from each other.
