Chapter 30

Virat's POV: the present.......

"I'm coming too" Muskaan blurted out! Shagun and I turned our heads slowly, as if it was an Indian soap opera and the unmarried sister-in-law just said that she was pregnant! I couldn't believe it! Did Muskaan Thakur just say that she was going to come with us to meet the man she hated!

"What did you just say?" Shagun asked

"I'm coming with you guys!" Muskaan said.

"Ummm....are you sure Makhi?" I asked. I still couldn't believe my ears!

"Asking me again and again won't make me change my decision!" She said as she got into the jeep.

"Akash is going to be in for a huge surprise!" I mumbled as I too got into my jeep with Shagun. 

The entire time while we were driving, there was pin drop silence. No one said anything, but Shagun and I were looking at each other awkwardly, we still couldn't believe it that Muskaan was accompanying us. Just out of the blue Muskaan asked, 

"Viru, where exactly are we going?"

"Ummmm, I don't know." I answered, I mean when Akash called, he said that he was waiting for me, but he didn't say where. 

"Virat! How could you be so stupid!" Shagun yelled, and hit me on the head. I touched my head and looked away to smile due to her cute antics, if I smiled in front of Shagun, she would get irritated. 

"Arrey! Why are you just sitting and doing nothing! Call him at least to ask where he is!" Shagun angrily said. 

"Yeah good idea!" I said as I fished my phone out of my pocket.

"Virat, there is a limit to being stupid!" Shagun yelled.

"What is it now!" I yelled back. She is so cute! I really want to hug her and tell her that, but if I say anything nice right now, I would be done for!

"You are driving! You can't talk on the phone while you are driving!" Shagun yelled.

"Ughhh! I was going to park the car and then call him!" I said in frustration. No, I was not frustrated since Shagun kept on bugging me, but it was due to the fact that I really wanted to say something regarding her cuteness, but obviously I couldn't do that! Shagun looked like a small bunny, who was struggling to do something! Her nose was red due to anger...she looked so adorable!

"How was I supposed to know? I was worried about you, so I yelled." Shagun said quietly.

"Aww, itni padi hai meri! (you care about me this much!)" I said as he parked his jeep close to a snow cone vendor. Shagun just smiled and looked towards the snow cone vendor's stall. I then took my phone and called Akash, and put it on speaker mode.

"Hello?" Akash answered

"Where are you?" I asked. I noticed that Shagun was looking towards the snow cone stall, she looks so cute! I kept on staring at her, I mean...how could I not? 

"What will I get by telling you...you just want to do romance with your girlfriend!" Akash bluntly said. Oh I wish, but you are like meri kundali mein grahan (problem in my fate) so how could I do anything? 

"Saale! (You!) I'm on my way, and yes Shagun is coming with me! I don't care if you mind or not! Now where the hell are you?" I  asked, I was really very annoyed! I desperately need to spend some quality time with Shagun, but Muskaan and Akash keep on bothering us! I glanced at Shagun, she was still looking at the snow cone stall..maybe she wanted to eat a snow cone...but not now... The great Virat Sharma has a plan! HA HA HA!
