Shagun's POV: the present.......
"Wait! That means you're gonna be a mami!" The sh*thead said. Does he not have control over his tongue. What the hell will happen now? The moron then realized his f*cking mistake and widened his eyes in shock...finally nikamma! (useless!) He then immediately disconnected the video call with Akash and Muskaan, and then turned and looked in the direction of the voice...
"What?" Veena auntie exclaimed
"What are you saying Virat?" Papa asked
Virat's face went completely blank...I could see the confusion in his eyes, it was like he was saying 'the hell do I say?' but then again it was Virat we were talking about. In a matter of seconds his eyes went from being confused to cunning. He then innocently said,
"Yeah, isn't the mom's brother and dad's sister called mama and mami?"
This is exactly why I love this man! He can think of anything to get him out of ANY situation. So, in order to help him out I said,
"You useless idiot! The mom's brother which would be you.... is called a mama and his WIFE is called a mami! The dad's sister...which would be me....is called a bua and her husband is called a phupha!" I said while hitting his head. He then looked shocked and said..
"Ohhhhh! I am so stupid! I am so sorry everyone! Thanks yaar Shagun!"
Nautanki! (Drama queen!)
"Oh god Virat! You had us scared! Vishal and I actually thought that you and Shagun were planning on getting married or something!" Ishita bhabhi said while giving a slight laugh.
Virat and I just looked at each other then looked away. I couldn't help but blush....what will happen when Virat and I actually DO get married?
"Okay okay! Mummy didn't you have to go to the mandir today?" Virat said, triggering his mom's favorite thing to do!
"Oh right! Let's go!" Veena auntie said as she got up and grabbed her pooja items from the table.
"Why don't we all go to the mandir today?" Bhavesh uncle (Virat's father) suggested...oh god if I have to go to the mandir today....I don't want to spend my Sunday there!
"Yeah! That's a great idea, let's all go together!" Papa agreed.
Then my entire family, and Virat's parents got up to go to the mandir.
"Virat! Let's go!" Veena auntie said. Virat's face dropped, I knew he didn't want to go to the mandir, and I wasn't planning on going either so I sweetly asked,
"Auntie, is it okay if Virat and I don't come?"
"Why what happened beta?" Maa asked
"Actually auntie, since we got the news of Ishita di's pregnancy, Shagun, Muskaan, Akash and I want to meet up and celebrate." Virat answered
"Arrey! Then call those two to the mandir as well! What is a better way of celebrating than being in the house of god?" Veena auntie said
"Arrey Veena! It's okay, let them celebrate! I don't want Viru to spend his youth like you did...in mandirs and all! Both of you carry on!" Virat's dadi said.
"Okay fine! Both of you can go." Maa said as she, dad, bhaiya and bhabi went outside and sat in their car.
"Wait! You can't go anywhere! Tonight we have to go visit our relatives in Pune! It takes us around 2 and a half hours to get there ayways! We also have to stay the night at their place!" Veena auntie exclaimed, as she went into the spare room and grabbed their bags.
"Mummy, I wouldn't have been able to come either way, tomorrow is Monday right? I have to go to work!" Virat argued.
"Shut up! You never go to work! Work from home nonsense! Party with your friends some other day!" Bhavesh uncle said
"Shut up you two! Yogesh and Neeta (the relatives in Pune) invited us three only! Plus, Virat would get bored there anyways! Virat isn't coming with us and that is final!" Virat's dadi intervened...and saved my plans.
"Mummy....okay fine!" Bhavesh uncle admitted defeat, said bye to both of us and left to go outside.
"Virat, your bag is in the spare room, take care beta. Let's go mummy ji" Veena auntie said as she came and hugged Virat. She then gave me a hug too and rushed out of the house.
"I guess I'll go too. Have fun guys! Just saying, we'll probably not be back until 2:00 p.m tomorrow." Virat's dadi winked at us and she left.
Virat and I then rushed and hugged his dadi.
"Thank you" We said at the same time.
"You're most welcome my children!" She said as she too exited the house.
Virat then locked the door and leaned on it.
"The entire house is empty!" He said.
It sure was...the entire house was empty..just me and Virat...what were we going to do?
"Hey Shagun? Go wait for me in my room, I need to call someone and I'll be right up!" Virat said...r...room why did he tell me to go to his room...what if he wants to.....noooo Virat is a nice guy! So I gave Virat a slight smile and went to his room....his enormous room! I sat on the window bench, and looked around his room. From where you enter there is a huge walk in closet to your left, beside the walk in closet is a big 70" tv, beside there is the lavish bathroom. His bathroom is the size of 2 bathrooms in my house put together! Then on the wall touching the bathroom wall there are huge french windows on both sides of a comfy window bench. Then on the wall beside that is a medium sized study table and on the same wall is a huge king sized bed! The-
"Shagun!" Virat's voice broke my chain of thoughts
"What?" I asked
"I've been calling out to you for the past 2 minutes...are you okay?" Virat asked as he knelt down besides me and held my face in his hands.
"Yeah, I was just admiring your room! I mean...it's sooo beautiful" I said with a smile.
"I mean..after we get married this will technically be your room too!" Virat said with a glint in his eyes...I could only imagine how him and I would be living in this giant room.
"I have an idea. Let's practice what we will do when we are home alone like this after marriage!" Virat said with mischief in his eyes.
"What do you mean?" I asked...I mean...I trusted him...but shouldn't we wait till we're married? So many thoughts flooded my head...
"Close your eyes." Virat ordered. So I did. He then picked me up in bridal style, and started walking. I then suddenly heard the sound of a door closing, he kept on moving. He then placed me down on a soft surface......
