Third Person's POv: The present time......

Virat's phone rang, he took his phone out of his pocket and saw who it was. He sighed. By the looks of it, it was probably a call from home. Muskaan looked at him and gave him a slight nod, thus motioning him to take the call. Virat then answered the phone....

"Hello?"

"Virat! What am I hearing! You are in the police force! How could you hide such a big thing from us! Do you not care about us! We are your family are we not!" Veena Sharma said as she expressed her sorrow on her son hiding his profession from his family.

'Guess Shagun told them. Well I'm f*cked!' Virat thought.

"Mummy, we will talk about this later." Virat answered, not wanting to confront his mother at the time.

"You didn't even tell your Ba! You tell her everything don't you? Come home right now! We need to talk to you!" Virat's mom ordered.

"I'm in the hospital right now mummy!" Virat said.

"Can't you just listen to your mom for this once!" Veena asked.

"No!" Virat said angrily

"You even hid the fact that you and Shagun love each other! How-"

'Sh*t she figured that out too! I...I mean that had to come out one day...' Virat panicked internally.

"I told you we will talk about this later!" Virat said.

"Virat please beta, just come home now, we need to talk!" Virat's dad said calmly.

"I'm not coming home right now!" Virat said adamantly

"Why can't you just come home!" Veena Sharma asked through her tears.

"Mummy, Muskaan's in the hospital! There is no way I'm leaving her here the entire night!"

Virat said as he disconnected the call.

"Aww, you care about me sooooo much! You stayed here at the hospital when you could've gone home!" Muskaan said thankfully.

"Oh no! that's not the reason why I'm staying here!" Virat said.

"Then what is the reason?" Akash asked

"I'm staying here so, tomorrow morning you two can help me sort this sh*t out!" Virat said in bossy tone.

"Why the hell would we do that?" Akash asked.

"Well...well.. why wouldn't you?" Virat asked.

"First of all, this is your f*cking problem. Second of all, I'm getting discharged from the hospital tomorrow, there is no way maa is letting me coming to your house first thing in the morning! Third of all... hum log vele nahin baithe! (We are not free!)" Muskaan said

"Really? So this is how you wanna go hun?" Virat asked

"Bring it on b*tch!" Muskaan said in a competitive tone.

"Okay, let's go! First of all, it was your f*cking problem when you and Akash were confused about what to say to each other, so you kept on calling me to help you guys out! I didn't have to help you, but being a good friend I did help you! Second of all, I had to run to attend so many cases in the middle of the night, so I wasn't able to sleep, but I still came and helped you guys out. Third of all....main bhi vela nahin baitha tha! (I was also not free!)" Virat said.

"Really, you weren't free? What were you doing?" Akash asked.

"I was trying to do something that you can't do?" Virat said
